System Generation Directory

This file lists the contents of the SSD System Generation Directory,
CRP0004*GENS.D*SYSGEN.D.
Whenever a new system component is released, and ready for use
in system generation, it should be copied to this directory, and
its description, in this file MUST be updated.
The various systems generated by the SSD SCL lie in the directory
CRP0004*SYSTEMS.D. These systems take the standard system components
from the System Generation Directory.

ASB.C AMOS System Bootstrapper, for use with the old
Sysgen (version 1).
ASB.B.FMS AMOS System Bootstrapper, for use with the old
Sysgen (version 1) and the old (Pascal) FMS.
CDC_D.C CDC disk driver, for a D hardware disk interface;
version 0401.
CDC_S.C CDC disk driver, for a S hardware disk interface;
version 0401.
CDC_S_2.C CDC disk driver, with two process parts, for a
S hardware disk interface; version 0401.
CDC_D_2.C CDC disk driver, with two process parts, for a
D hardware disk interface; version 0401.
CDC10.C CDC disk driver, with process name CDC010, for a
S hardware disk interface; version 0401.
FD.C Floppy disk driver; version 0401.
KERNEL.C Kernel, without critical regions, which places
its data in memory section 1; version 0501.
KERNEL.S0.C Kernel, without critical regions, which places
its data in memory section 0; version 0501.
KERNEL.REG.C Kernel, with critical regions, which places
its data in memory section 1; version 0501.
DMAF.C DMA driver for a file processor DMA; version 0601.
DMAF_3.C DMA driver for a file processor DMA, with three
processes; version 0601.
DMAU.C DMA driver for a user processor DMA; version 0101.
RTC.C Real Time Clock, for use with version 4 of Root;
version 5 of Root loads this process by itself,
so it is not necessary in a boot module; version 0101.
BUF.C Buffer Manager; version 0101.
MULDIV.C Long integer multiplication and division; version 0101.
IDLE.C Idle process; version 0101.
TTY.C Terminal driver; version 0801.
FF.C File Name Utilities; version 0101.

FMS.D Directory containing several subdirectories, each
of which contains an object module (called FMS.C),
for a particular configuration of the File Management

FMS_2.C File Management System, with two process parts, for
use in the SSD S/W development system; version 0401.
FMS_V0402_2.C File Management System, with two process parts, for
use in the SSD S/W development system; version 0402.
INIT.C System Initialisation program, used with
the new version (0201) of Sysgen; version 0102.
IO_SYSTEM.0702.C Input/Output System with magtape support, VS0702
IO_SYSTEM.0802.C Input/Output System WITHOUT magtape support, VS0802
TOP.C Test Output Process; version 0101.
TTYTOP.C Test Output Process, which outputs to a terminal;
version 0101.
TDXRDV.C Telecommunication Data eXchange driver; version 0105.
