Module id number: CSS/7004
--------------------------

Module name: CR80MX LTU TEST PROGRAM
-----------------------------------------

Actual release: 03.01 Release date: 850918
----------------------- --------------------

Previous release: 02.02 Release date: 850808
----------------------- --------------------

New facilities:
---------------
The programs now supports LIA V35.

  3 new commands are introduced:
DEFINE LIA MODE (changes LIA mode)
SET TIME (not appl. in MXAMOS version)
DISPLAY CONFIG (display of LTU configuration)

Changes:
--------
Syntax of DEFINE LTU command changed introducing a new 'LTU mode':
operation_mode or basic LTU mode. 3 modes may be specified:
    1) NORMAL: LTU operates as in ver 2.02. but the loop_back_point
parameter (former loop_mode) cannot be defined as
               REMOTE_LTU in the old sense.
Further BUS_SWITCH test cannot be performed.

    2) NORMAL_SW: Same as NORMAL, but the TEST BUS SWITCH command
can be performed and is included in TEST ALL and
                  TEST ALL LTU commands.

    3) REMOTE: In this mode only control functions, loop functions
and the test function RUN <loops> are allowed.
All loops are runned with loop_mode = REMOTE_LTU
in the old sense. (ver. 2.02).
               """""""""""""""""""""""""""""

The loop parameter loop_mode is renamed to loop_back_point and may
  now be specified as follows:

    1) LTU (former SIO)
    2) LIA (former (NORMAL)
    3) LOCAL_MODEM
    4) REMOTE_MODEM
    5) REMOTE_LTU (former NORMAL)

The former function loop_mode = REMOTE_LTU is obtained by defining
  LTU in REMOTE operation_mode.

The loop parameter transmission_mode is removed. Now the program
will allways run as in the former SIMPLEX mode.

Syntax of command SET V24 changed.
The parameter words HIGH/LOW are replaced by ON/OFF or
  SPACING/MARKING.

Errors corrected:
-----------------
The MODIFY CRC function did not accept the parameter 'NO'.
In the TEST ALL function the following error was found:
If the loop back point was remote modem or remote LTU,
false line timeout messages could be generated.

Reported errors, not corrected:
-------------------------------
  None

Comments:
---------
Released with LTU FW CSS-MIC/490 ver. 1.1

An errorfree execution of the function TEST IO COMMANDS implies
implementation of ECO CSD/005/ECO/2024 on the LTU.

The program is not tested on a CR80MX, step 2 machine. «a5»
