New facilities:
---------------

>> 03.01 <<

    1. UPDATE STATUS was called 'define status' in the main menu. This
inconsistency is removed and the function is changed as to act
as a proper UPDATE function i.e. after giving the activity name
the current values of the attributes are presented and you are
prompted with 'which attribute to change' .
The following attributes may be changed :

                                          default
        date today
        hours (accum) current value
        hours remaining - -
        hours used since last 0

Note that you may choose between accumulated hours used and
hours used since last status date . This is new.

An attribute number of 0 will get you the question
        OK, more status? (Y/N)
and you may proceed with the next activity.

    2. LIST OF CONTENTS is not generated automatically, but must
be ordered from the main menu thus saving a number of
        redundant list of contents.

    3. A summask (32 bits) is associated with each activity.
Only activities matching current sum code are listed.

    4. The 'revision' field of the activity record is utilized.
It should be set to zero for a new activity ,
updated automatically each time the activity is changed
        and may be reset during
        CHANGE ACTIVITY.

>> 02.02<<

    1. A corrupted database has necessitated the introduction
of CLEAN ACTIVITY. It prompts for the activity index. As no
checks are made it must be used with care. It has function
no. 25 but does not appear in the main menu.

>> 02.00<<

    1. Chapter 4 and 5 in EED/EWP/0004 EXTENSIONS TO PMP
have been inplemented except section 4.2.3.
You must install a file 'report_index_fil' in your directory
'activity_databas' to support the report index facility other-
wise PMP terminates with a CC of #422 (Nonexisting_Name).
All activities are reported if using report index 0 .

    2. PMP may be adapted to various screentypes :
        ANSI,GT400,VT52 and Teletype.
The number of lines on the screen may be set.
The number of lines on a page (print output) may be set.
        Default is GT400, 25 lines and 40 lines/page.
        Install a file 'environment_file' in 'activity_databas'
        with three lines :
first line is screen type (1=GT400, 2=ANSI, 3=VT52 and
4=Teletype), second line is number of lines (24..25) and
third line is lines/page (excluding header).
        (PR 1169)

Changes:
--------

>> 03.01<<

    1. An activity with sub-activities : You cannot change the
man-power profile during CHANGE ACTIVITY because the info
is collected from the sub-activities, anyway.

    2. CLEAN ACTIVITY is now number 29 when selecting from the main menu.

    3. The user is no longer prompted for report index in e.g.
        PRINT ACTIVITY
but must define a global report index by main menu no. 25
        SET CONDITIONS

    4. The root name of an activity tree is used in the List of Contents
instead of the current activity name.

    5. If an activity has scheduled hours= actual hours= 0 the completion
percentage is output as 100 instead of 0.

    6. The 'report_index_fil' has been eliminated.

    7. PRINT ACTIVITIES and PRINT STATUS :
The horisontal display is improved by inserting a line with
the root work package in the header and omitting this part
in the WORK PACKAGE column. This means that the last levels
of long package names are not lost.

>> 02.02<<

    1. DELETE EMPLOYEE : The error message
        EMPLOYEE ENGAGED IN ACTIVITIES
        has been replaced by
        EMPLOYEE ENGAGED IN ACTIVITY <activity>
        for obvious reasons.

>> 02.01<<

    1. You may regret in PRINT mode by specifying no of copies = 0 .

    2. You may regret in CHANGE EMPLOYEE INFO by trying to change
        attribute no 0 .

>> 02.00<<

    1. CHANGE ACTIVITY mode may be left by giving an empty activity
        name.

    2. If an unexpected completion code is received when doing I/O
from/to the employee file or the activity file more info is
        given in the termination message.

    3. Termination messages are also output to the print file for
        debug purposes.

Errors corrected:
-----------------

>> 03.02<<

    1. The extended edit mode: A replace often resulted in a run-time
        error (#703).

    2. The replace-all command worked as the replace-and-search command.

>> 03.01<<

    1. CHANGE ACTIVITY no longer redefines the remaining hours of an
activity to the current cost of the activity
when something other than the man-power profile
        was changed e.g. the project's title .

    2. Garbage on input line: sometimes more than one error message
        was output.

    3. COPY ACTIVITY did not copy the whole subtree.

    4. Ext'd editing of titles : a short title was superimposed on the
        old title.

    5. Start date,Stop date and cost were computed on the basis of all
activities. Now only activities with proper report index are used.

    6. LIST of CONTENTS : Now the root name is given even in case of
        PRINT SCHEDULE.

>> 02.02<<

    1. In DEFINE STATUS : an attempt to change the activity name
caused a runtime error (#703) . Instead the message
        CANNOT BE ALTERED appears.

>> 02.01<<

    1. List of Contents was not OK .

    2. Old databases would appear to loose activities in a printout because
some activities did not contain report index 0.

>> 02.00<<

    1. Error in CHANGE ACTIVITY : PMP must repeat prompting for
attributes to change as long as the activity is not OK.

    2. Error in DEFINE STATUS : omitting the name would cause
PMP to terminate with the error Out_of_Range (#319).

    3. PMP would not detect garbage on the imput line.

Reported errors, not corrected:
-------------------------------

>> 03.02<<

    1. Ext'd editing of revision : the revision number is incremented after
        editing.

    2. The COPY ACTIVITY loops ten times and then encounters a range error
if you try to copy the activity down one level e.g. copy from
        100-1 to 100-1-2 .
A similar situation occurs in CHANGE ACTIVITY.

>> 03.01<<

    1. LIST of CONTENTS : the title of the root activity is not correct.

    2. PRINT SCHEDULE by wpn: A header is produced for each activity
even those that do not match current report index.
