This appendix contains all the online error reports
from the CAMPS system.
There are two different types of the error reports:
H/W and S/W reports.
It is a H/W error report if the REP-ID is one of the
following:
- CCB XXX
- FMS XXX
- MAP XXX
- PER XXX
- TMS XXX
- WD XXX (XXX = numeric characters)
The remaining reports are S/W error reports, i.e. the
REP-ID is one of the following:
- GIE
- GQE
- GTE
- PGE
- PSE
- QEL
- VIEW
The error reports listed on the same page in this appendix
are included in the format shown in the head of the
page.
H̲/̲W̲ ̲E̲r̲r̲o̲r̲ ̲R̲e̲p̲o̲r̲t̲ ̲F̲o̲r̲m̲a̲t̲:

The "REP-ID" is the identification of the online report.
REP-TYP (R̲e̲p̲ort-T̲y̲p̲e)
The "REP-TYP" is the type of the report.
UNIT
NAME NO
The "UNIT" is the part of the CAMPS system to which
the report printout concerns.
The "UNIT" is described by two parameters:
"NAME" (the name of unit) and "No" (the unit identification
number). An explanation of Nos are given in Section
A.2.
ERROR
TYPE ID.
The "ERROR" is a short description of the detected
error.
The "ERROR" is described by two parameters:
"TYPE" (A description of the error).
"ID" (A specific identification of the errorsource).
ACTION OF SYSTEM
The "ACTION OF SYSTEM" is a description of the automatic
reaction of the CAMPS system when an error is detected.
ERROR DESCRIPTION
The "ERROR DESCRIPTION" is a general verbal description
of the detected error.
ERROR REPORT
STAT CAUS ADR
The "ERROR REPORT" is an errorreport from the MAP (DMA
handler) in the PU and is described by three parameters:
STAT (The status word)
CAUS (The error cause word)
ADR (The error location address).
S̲/̲W̲ ̲E̲r̲r̲o̲r̲ ̲R̲e̲p̲o̲r̲t̲ ̲F̲o̲r̲m̲a̲t̲:
There are six different formats of the S/W error reports.
The information provided in the S/W error reports is
not immediately accessible because the information
is written in hexadecimal codes. Each format provides
as much information about the detected error as possible.
The mnenomics of the format are not explained because
the analyzation of S/W errors is not performed on site.
