                          following:

5.4      C̲O̲N̲T̲I̲N̲U̲I̲T̲Y̲ ̲C̲H̲E̲C̲K̲

The continuity of traffic is checked by two meassures:

             -   Self addressed channel check message.

             -   TI continuity check (discrepancy in the TI).

CAMPS shall on each outgoing open channel transmit
to TRC or via Point-to-Point connection a self-addressed
         channel check message.

On each outgoing open channels CAMPS shall expect a
self-addressed channel check message from TRC or via
         Point-to-Point connection.

CAMPS shall forward an incoming abbreviated service
message, which describes traffic discontinuity on the
corresponding outgoing channel, to the Supervisor.

CAMPS shall on each incoming message check the sequence
of the Transmission Serial Number (TSN) in the Transmission
Identification (TI) of FL1 in order to ensure the continuity
         of traffic per channel.

5.4.1    O̲u̲t̲g̲o̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲S̲e̲l̲f̲-̲a̲d̲d̲r̲e̲s̲s̲e̲d̲ ̲C̲h̲a̲n̲n̲e̲l̲ ̲C̲h̲e̲c̲k̲ ̲M̲e̲s̲s̲a̲g̲e̲

CAMPS shall transmit a self-addressed channel check
message on the corresponding outgoing channel, when
no transmission has been received on an open incoming
channel for a period of 30 minutes (or as determined
         by the Supervisor).

CAMPS shall expect a self-addressed channel check message
back within 15 minutes counted from (EOTF) on the corresponding
         incoming channel.

If the message is not received within this time of
period, then a warning report shall be forwarded to
         the supervisor.

Automatic transmission of a self-addressed channel
check message is disabled, when either one or both
of a corresponding set of channels are "closed".

The format of the self-addressed channel check for
         transmission on outgoing channels is:

                 VZCZC(TI)(5xsp)UU(EOLF)
                 OO(sp)(CAMPS RI)(EOLF)
                 DE(sp)(CAMPS RI)(sp)(SSN)(sp)(TOF)(EOLF)
                 ZNR(sp)UUUUU(EOLF)
                 CHANNEL CHECK(EOLF)
                 (EOTF)

When CAMPS receives a channel check message self-addressed
to a TRC or a Point-to-Point connected station, then
CAMPS shall transmit the message back to the transmitting
station via the corresponding outgoing channel.

The format of the self-addressed channel check message
         is:

                 VZCZC(TI)(5xsp)UU(EOLF)

The responsibility for the continuity of Transmission
Serial Numbers (TSN) rests with the distant receiving
TRC's or P-to-P stations. Any discrepancies in the
TSN may cause a transmission of an abbreviated service
message, which, when received by CAMPS, will be forwarded
         to the Supervisor.

5.4.4    T̲I̲ ̲C̲o̲n̲t̲i̲n̲u̲i̲t̲y̲ ̲C̲h̲e̲c̲k̲ ̲o̲n̲ ̲I̲n̲c̲o̲m̲m̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲M̲e̲s̲s̲a̲g̲e̲

CAMPS shall automatically check the sequence of Transmission
serial numbers per incoming channel. Discrepancies
