This document describes the function of the GETUSP
Monitor.
1.1 I̲N̲T̲R̲O̲D̲U̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
The purpose of the GETUSP is to find and deliver a
specified user security profile from the USP file stored
at the MEDE.
1.2 A̲B̲B̲R̲E̲V̲I̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲S̲

3.1 F̲U̲N̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲A̲L̲ ̲C̲A̲P̲A̲B̲I̲L̲I̲T̲I̲E̲S̲
The GETUSP montior retrieves a user security profile,
corresponding to a specified user identification from
the USP-file stored at the MEDE.
3.2 I̲N̲T̲E̲R̲F̲A̲C̲E̲ ̲D̲E̲S̲C̲R̲I̲P̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
The GETUSP monitor is used by:
TEP Subsystem, Ref. FIX/1151/PSP/0099
SFS Subsystem, Ref. FIX/1155/PSP/0093
Invocation of the GETUSP monitor:
MON (GETUSP
R1 Ref. to USP file name
R2 Ref. to a Buffer List Element
R3 Ref. to a File Address
R4 FD for MOVHEAD
R5 Ref. to work buffer (512 bytes)
R7) Link/Error code
Work buffer layout:
Word 0 ... 7 Registersave
Word 8 ... 9 Requested user id
Word 10 ..19 USP found by GETUSP
Word 20 .. 255 Work area
If the user identification is not found the user id
in the work buffer will be deleted.
The GETUSP Monitor interfaces the following monitor
procedures:
MON IO LOOKUP
Gets the file descriptor to the USP-file
MON IO READBYTES
Reads a part of the USP-file
MON IO DISMANTLE
Closes the USP-file after use.
3.3 P̲R̲O̲C̲E̲S̲S̲I̲N̲G̲
The processing is described by means of the flow charts
in sec. 7.
3.4 D̲A̲T̲A̲ ̲O̲R̲G̲A̲N̲I̲Z̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
The Data Organization is described in section 3.2 Interface
Description and in FIKS FILE generators PSP FIX/1200/PSP/0042.
3.5 S̲T̲O̲R̲A̲G̲E̲ ̲A̲L̲L̲O̲C̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
As the GETUSP is a monitor procedure and the calling
processes offers a workbuffer it will not require any
further data area.
For the program size please refer to the SCCLDD document.
