         The operator specifies whether or not a local printout
         is desired.



5.2.5    V̲a̲l̲i̲d̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲

         The operator gives the "next-message" or ENTER command.
         Theinput is validated against the range of values for
         variables (Table 1). If valid, distribution is made.
         If not, an error message is returned.



5.2.6    E̲x̲i̲t̲ ̲C̲o̲n̲d̲i̲t̲i̲o̲n̲s̲

         If the transaction is validated sucessfully and NEXT
         MESSAGE was depressed, thenext message from the queue
         is presented.



5.3      R̲E̲T̲R̲I̲E̲V̲A̲L̲ ̲O̲F̲ ̲M̲E̲S̲S̲A̲G̲E̲ ̲F̲O̲R̲ ̲D̲I̲S̲T̲R̲I̲B̲U̲T̲I̲O̲N̲ ̲-̲ ̲F̲O̲R̲M̲A̲T̲ ̲6̲



5.3.1    The operator retrieves the requested message based
         upon retrieval keys available under normal retrieval
         processing.



5.3.2    The operator speifies the staff cells for local distribution.



5.3.3    The input is validated and the message, when validated,
         is distributed. If not, an error message is returned.

6.1      I̲N̲T̲R̲O̲D̲U̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲

         The supervisor engineering commands are those engineering
         functions implemented to work from the supervisor command
         positon.



6.2      E̲N̲G̲I̲N̲E̲E̲R̲I̲N̲G̲ ̲F̲U̲N̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲S̲

         The actual engineering commands relating to engineering
         functions shall be derived from the hardware and software
         design and requirement for those functions. These will
         be defined during sstem and subsystem design.
