Checkpoint records to standby PU are transmitted via a checkpoint transmission process
in SSC package. See figure 5.8.2.1.1-1.

Data transfers between MMS, application processes and Disk Controller Memory are
done by DMA using the KERNEL XFER module.
Checkpoint data are moved directly to Checkpoint Buffers which are shared between
MMS and heckpoint Transmission Process.
