         This document describes the function of the INTASC
         monitor procedure used at MEDE and SCC.

         The INTASC procedure supports the conversion from Integer
         to ASCII and vice versa.

3.1      F̲U̲N̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲A̲L̲ ̲C̲A̲P̲A̲B̲I̲L̲I̲T̲I̲E̲S̲

         The INTASC procedure converts integer 0..9999 to a
         four  tte ASCII string; or a four byte ASCII string
         is converted to an integer 0..9999.


3.2      I̲N̲T̲E̲R̲F̲A̲C̲E̲ ̲D̲E̲S̲C̲R̲I̲P̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
