Christian Rovsing A/S af 1984 is currently developing
a Computer Aided Message Processing System (CAMPS).
The purpose of CAMPS s to improve the message communication
between headquaters within NATO countries during peace
and war time.
CAMPS provides capabilities within headquaters for
preparation of messages, routing of messages between
headquaters via communication netwrks, and automatic
distribution of messages to staff cells within the
receiving headquaters. More than 16 systems will be
installed throughout the European NATO countries.
The procuring agency for NATO is SHAPE Host Nation
Management Office (SHNM). The SHNMO division is managed
by Air Commodore Elfrink.
The CAMPS contract was initiated in April 1980 and
had before the bankruptcy of Christian Rovsing A/S
a value of 339 mill. D.Kr.
A contract for completion and extension of the CAMPS
proram is currently under negociation. The extensions
covers test and development systems as well as functional
improvements.
Agreement has been reached within the technical and
economical areas leading to a new contract value of
151 mill. D.kr. Theonly outstanding issue is a financial
guaranty on the new contract value.
The current plan is that the subject system shall be
authorized by the NATO Payment and Progress Committee
by end of February 1985. It is of utmost importance
to the CAMPS rogram and Christian Rovsing A/S af 1984
that NATO authorises the necessary funding for the
described system, such that a contract between SHAPE
and Christian Rovsing A/S af 1984 can be signed within
the next month.

Christian Rovsing A/S af 1984 er for tiden ved at udvikle
et Computer Aided Message Processing System (CAMPS).
Form>let med dette system er at forbedre kommnikationen
mellem hovedkvar- tererne i NATO landene s>vel i freds-
som krigstid.
CAMPS har funktioner, s>ledes at de enkelte Hovedkvarterer
kan udarbejde, og afsende meddelelser (telexer) til
de ]vrige ho- vedkvarterer via et kommunikationsnetv`r
samt automatisk for- dele meddelelser til organisatoriske
enheder indenfor de ho- vedkvarterer, der modtager
disse meddelelser. Mere end 16 sy- stemer skal installeres
i alle Europas NATO lande.

ca. 265 millioner, og sy- stemudviklingen var i sin

En kontrakt til f`rdigg]relse og yderligere udvidelse
af CAMPS projektet er for tiden ved at blive genforhandlet.
Udvidelser- ne d`kker test og udviklingssystemer s>vel
som funktonelle forbedringer af de operationelle CAMPS
systemer.
Der er opn>et gensidig forst>else indenfor de tekniske
og ]ko- nomiske omr>der, som vil f]re til en ny kontrakt
p> 151 mill- ioner. Det eneste udest>ende er en finansiel
garanti p> den nye kntrakt.
Planen er nu, at forts`ttelsen af CAMPS projektet skal
godken- des af NATO Payment and Progress Committe i
slutningen af fe- bruar 1985.
Det er af st]rste betydning for CAMPS projektet og
Christian Rovsing A/S af 1984 at NATO godkender en
n]dvendige betaling af systemet, s>ledes at en kontrakt
mellem SHAPE og Christian Rovsing A/S af 1984 kan underskrives
i l]bet af en m>ned.
