Logistics Department is responsible for all customer
training on programs undertaken by the Systems Division
of Christian Rovsing A/S. The trainig organization
also has the responsibility for the development of
manuals and handbooks. The combination of training
and development of manuals and handbooks ensures an
efficient training of customer's personnel.
The training material employed isessentially the same
documentation which the technician later will work
with on site.
The training section of Logistics Department is headed
by a section manager who has technical writers/
instructors reporting to him.
Other divisions and depatments within the company will
supply training courses and instructors on request,
e.g. training course in assembler language programming.

The development of the individual courses which make
p the CAMPS Training Program will take place in the
training section and in other departments of the company.
However, the overall responsibility for compliance
with the CAMPS contract and System Requirements Specification
lies with Training Manage.
The following courses shall be developed:
1. Technical Hardware Training Course
2. Operator Training Course
3. On-The-Job Training
4. Training of Customer's Resident Field Technician…86…1
…02… …02… …02… …02…
Re. 1.
This course encompasses hardware and software training.
The training section will develop the major part of
the training program based on the CAMPS Technical Handbooks.
Oly a short course in assembler programming language
may be offered by the programming department of the
Electronics Division. Since the maintenance philosophy
is based on module replacement no hardware courses
on circuit card level is required. In eneral, the Technical
Hardware Training Program is a subset of the training
offered customer's Resident Field Technicians (see
Re. 4. below).
Re.2.
This course will be conducted on Site at Customer's
full responsibility. Development of the coure material
will be carried out by the training section. If software
exercises are required to be part of the course, these
will be written by the CAMPS software team.
Re. 3.
This course will provide OJT to both operators and
maintenance technicans. The course will be conducted
at site at customer's full responsibility supervised
by customer's RST. Course material will be developed
by the training section based on the material developed
for the formal technical course and operator trainin
course.
Re. 4
This extensive course of approx. 6 months duration
will be conducted at contractor's facility. The training
program will contain the following components:
1. Hardware Course (classroom and hands-on)
2. Software Course (classrom and hands-on)
3. Participation in integration and final test of
CAMPS production systems.
The outline for the hardware and software courses will
be established in the Training Plan to be submitted
later. Regarding hardware training, it can be said
that in certain areas training will be performed below
module level (at circuit level) to give the student
an appreciation of the spectrum of faults to be encountered.
The objective of the software training is to enable
the student to analyse software fault, report the to
the programming center (or contractor) and implement
changes as directed.
After having received formal hardware and software
training the students will participate in the integration
and final test of the CAMPS production systems. This
will gve the students a good understanding of the various
system elements and a valuable hands-on training in
fault isolation during the final test.

The task of developing the material for the handbooks
will bebroken down and assigned to the various functions
of the CAMPS project team. A compilation and editing
process will then take place under the responsibility
of the training section.
The resulting Equipment Handbooks will contain the
following infrmation:
1. Equipment Specifications,
Installation and Commissioning Instructions
2. Operating instructions i.e. equipment related instructions
for various operator categories
3. Technical Description
4. Alignment and Maintenance Instructons i.e. brief
description with reference to the Maintenance manual
5. Drawings, Illustrations, Photographs, Circuit Diagrams
6. Parts Lists
The handbooks will support operators and maintenance
technicians at site, and at the same time serve the
purpose of training documentation.
As stated in the previous paragraph te editors and
technical writers will carry out part of the formal
training of customers personnel.
