1. M̲O̲U̲
CR strongly believes that the existing
baseline documents i.e. CAMPS contract,
System Requirements, Acceptance Plan
and Acceptance Test Procedures very detailed
defines the CAMPS 240 hours test all
of which SHAPE have approved.
CR and SHAPE agreed to the MOU attached
as Annex A to be the baseline for the
conduct of the 240 hours test.
Exempt from CR's agreement is the current
wording of the following paras of Annex
A which are 6.2.1 and 6.2.2. CR will
return with their proposal within one
week.
SHAPE stated not to be in the position
to start the 240 hours test unless a
complete understanding will be mutually
agreed.
In addition SHAPE stated its expectation
in accordance with the contract that
CR would reimburse SHAPE additional travel
costs in case of a unsuccessful end of
the testing as outlined in para 11 of
annex A.
CR stated that they intend to use the
CAMPS contract as the vehicle for this
issue.
2. U̲p̲d̲a̲t̲e̲s̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲C̲P̲S̲/̲T̲P̲R̲/̲0̲0̲7̲ ̲-̲ ̲I̲n̲ ̲P̲l̲a̲n̲t̲ ̲T̲e̲s̲t̲
̲P̲r̲o̲c̲e̲d̲u̲r̲e̲s̲
a) Updates to user, supervisor packages
and following SHAPE telex no. 1480
(same subject) have been reviewed
and comments were given by SHAPE
to CR.
b) CR has presented and explained updates
to external channels packages (TRC/PTR,
CCIS, and SCARS) - SHAPE will review
updates and send comments to CR.
3. D̲a̲t̲a̲ ̲B̲a̲s̲e̲ ̲f̲o̲r̲ ̲2̲4̲0̲ ̲H̲o̲u̲r̲s̲ ̲T̲e̲s̲t̲/̲F̲u̲n̲c̲t̲i̲o̲n̲a̲L̲
̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲O̲p̲e̲r̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲T̲e̲s̲t̲
SHAPE telex no. 1473 has been discussed,
one main problem is still foreseen by
SHAPE: It was never the intention to
fix the circuit numbers by circuit type
as CR did. (e.g. Nics Tare circuit has
to be number 1) SHAPE will investigate
if this is acceptable.
4. P̲r̲e̲f̲o̲r̲m̲a̲t̲t̲e̲d̲ ̲M̲e̲s̲s̲a̲g̲e̲ ̲I̲m̲p̲l̲e̲m̲e̲n̲t̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲
Six messages are defined by SHAPE for
implementation CR is currently considering
the five more simple cases. SHAPE insists
to see the sixth cast (ORBATSEA) implemented
also before start of 240 hours test.
CR estimates that the sixth case (ORBATSEA)
will extend the schedule with approximately
one month.
CR is willing to have this implemented
prior to completion of the functional
test SHAPE.
SHAPE refers to CPS/TPR/007 para 2.1.2.2.1.
5. V̲D̲U̲ ̲S̲c̲e̲n̲a̲r̲i̲o̲s̲ ̲f̲o̲r̲ ̲L̲o̲a̲d̲ ̲T̲e̲s̲t̲
The section of the TPR/007 with load
test was checked against the SRS section
3.4.1 concerning performance. SHAPE requested
CR to demonstrate to SHAPE that the requirements
are met, especially in the areas of peak
character input/output rate, cross office
delay, and terminal transaction and retrieval
response times.
CR agreed that TPR007 approved currently
does not specify detailed procedures
for verification of specific performance
requirements. Unless contained in already
specified test procedures. CR does not
feel it has any contractual obligation
in this area.
SHAPE disagrees with CR feeling CR does
have a contractual obligation to demonstrate
performance requirements are met.
The VDU scenarios for the load test were
explained. A set of test scripts for
the VDU simulator of the test drive system
will be available prior to test start.
CR will find a means to simulate the
OCR outgoing message load which is currently
not produced by the test drive system.
6. R̲e̲l̲a̲y̲ ̲F̲u̲n̲c̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲I̲m̲p̲l̲e̲m̲e̲n̲t̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲T̲e̲s̲t̲
CR stated that this capability has been
implemented but that no test cases will
be added to the CAMPS acceptance tests
in order to demonstrate this capability.
7. C̲o̲m̲p̲l̲e̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲t̲h̲e̲ ̲S̲y̲s̲t̲e̲m̲ ̲I̲n̲t̲e̲g̲r̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲
̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲T̲e̲s̲t̲ ̲C̲a̲s̲e̲s̲
CR agreed that the system integration
and test cases results cannot be forwarded
prior to the end of December 1983.
CR stated that the start of 240 hours
test has no dependency to this event.
8. S̲h̲i̲p̲m̲e̲n̲t̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲S̲i̲t̲e̲ ̲0̲6̲ ̲-̲ ̲M̲i̲s̲s̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲S̲p̲a̲r̲e̲ ̲V̲D̲U̲
̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲M̲S̲P̲
The spare VDU and MSP missed to be shipped
by CR to site 06 will be provided.
9. N̲A̲T̲O̲ ̲F̲u̲n̲d̲s̲ ̲f̲o̲r̲ ̲T̲r̲a̲i̲n̲i̲n̲g̲
See Annex C.
A copy of letter from the Chairman of
Budget Committee was forwarded to SHAPE
and commented by CR to highlight the
background.
It was agreed that both parties will
draft an agenda for a CAMPS familiarization
seminar to be presented to NATO for approval
and funding.
10. C̲o̲s̲t̲ ̲E̲v̲a̲l̲u̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲f̲o̲r̲ ̲N̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲S̲e̲c̲u̲r̲i̲t̲y̲
̲C̲l̲a̲s̲s̲i̲f̲i̲c̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲
An informal budgettary quotation was
forwarded.
11. O̲u̲t̲s̲t̲a̲n̲d̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲P̲a̲y̲m̲e̲n̲t̲
Due to the investigation CR Provided
a list of outstanding payments (See annex
B).
SHAPE will review this list and send
comments.
12. C̲h̲a̲n̲g̲e̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲L̲o̲w̲ ̲S̲p̲e̲e̲d̲ ̲P̲a̲r̲t̲s̲ ̲C̲o̲n̲f̲i̲g̲u̲r̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲
Deleted from the agenda.
13. C̲A̲M̲P̲S̲/̲N̲i̲c̲s̲ ̲T̲a̲r̲e̲ ̲I̲n̲t̲e̲r̲f̲a̲c̲e̲ ̲T̲e̲s̲t̲i̲n̲g̲
See Annex D.
SHAPE gave test procedures to CR. These
procedures will be used druing the functional
test.
14. T̲e̲s̲t̲ ̲R̲o̲o̲m̲
The test room will be of a size sufficient
to accommodate the system under test
and its peripherals as well as both test
teams of CR and SHAPE: No other activity
than 240 hours testing will take place
in this test room. This excludes even
a partial use of the room for other purposes
by means of provisional separation of
those parts.
ANNEX A…01…---------
10. M̲D̲S̲D̲-̲P̲R̲O̲B̲A̲B̲I̲L̲I̲T̲Y̲
In addition to the initial verification
of the functional and operational performance
of the CAMPS system the 240 hours test
together with the preceding test activity
during systems integration and test has
to form the basis for calculations of
the MDSD probability. Refer CAMPS Acceptance
Plan CPS/PLN/012, Section 4.6.5, and
SRS, Section 4.2.2.2 d). At T-2 working
days CR will present, therefore, the
reliability prediction obtained from
the preceding system I & T activity.
During the 240 h test CR will continue
to calculate the MDSD probability based
on a mutually agreed formula.
11. T̲E̲S̲T̲ ̲T̲E̲R̲M̲I̲N̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
The test shall end successfully when
the test clock has reached 240 hours.
The test shall end unsuccessfully and
be restarted under the conditions of
para 2.1 for the following reasons:
o System instability resulting in unavailability
of the system so that the accumulated
test time of 5 days, under the conditions
of para 2.2, is not reached within
7 working days.
o The SHPAE test director states that
due to the number and/or kind of
SW errors/HW defects exceeding the
allowable error rate CR was not sufficiently
prepared to start the test.
12. T̲E̲S̲T̲ ̲A̲C̲C̲E̲P̲T̲A̲N̲C̲E̲
Within 2 days after the successful end
of testing Chief, SHNMO will state acceptance
upon recommendation of the SHAPE test
director.
