1.1      Quantitative reliability requirements are specified
         in IFB sec. 4 and in System Requirements, sec. 3.4.
         Preliminary apportionment have to be compred with specified
         requirements.

1.2      Failure rate sources shall be identified and reviewed,
         and a complete and thorough definition of "failure"
         as applied to the equipment shall be developed. Categories
         of failures that apply to the equipment shal be defined
         such as catastrophic, critical and non critical.

1.3      Derating policies based on

         MIL-STD-217C
         RDH-376: Reliability Design Handbook
         IPC-ML-910: Design and End product specification for
         rigid multilager PCB

         will be performed.

1.4      Pediction methods are based on MIL-STD-217C and subdivided
         in the following two parts which will constitute the
         Reliability model.
