This Assembly Breakdown illustrates and lists the CAMPS
Reference System Remote Terminal Hardware.
The purpose of this Document is to assist assembly,
supply, maintenance, and overhaul personel in the identification
of replaceable parts.
This Hardware Assembly Breakdown/Hardware tree is made
according to reference designations for electrical
and electronics parts and equipment standard USAS Y
32.16-1968.

illustrate the equipment and their physical location.
The tables specifying the components and the site configuration.
Section 3 is appendices containing general information
such as fuse tables.
1.4 I̲N̲D̲E̲N̲T̲U̲R̲E̲ ̲L̲E̲V̲E̲L̲S̲
In order to specify an exact equipment location, every
piece of equipment is given a reference designation
number. The reference designation number is based on
the branch numbers in the hardware tree. In this hardware
assembly breakdown, the hardware tree is broken down
in up to 4 indenture levels.
I̲n̲d̲e̲n̲t̲u̲r̲e̲ ̲L̲e̲v̲e̲l̲ ̲1̲ is the Remote Terminal broken down
into units.
I̲n̲d̲e̲n̲t̲u̲r̲e̲ ̲L̲e̲v̲e̲l̲ ̲2̲ is the units broken down to assemblies.
Assemblies on this level can be: Rack Equipment Assembly,
Cabinet Assembly.
I̲n̲d̲e̲n̲t̲u̲r̲e̲ ̲l̲e̲v̲e̲l̲ ̲3̲ splits for example a rack equipment
assembly into crate assemblies, fan assemblies and
19" Blank panels.
I̲n̲d̲e̲n̲t̲u̲r̲e̲ ̲l̲e̲v̲e̲l̲ ̲4̲ can be crate assembly split up into
a number of PC-board modules and mechanical parts.
