                    S̲E̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲ ̲1̲ ̲-̲ ̲S̲C̲O̲P̲E̲

1.1      I̲n̲t̲r̲o̲d̲u̲c̲t̲i̲o̲n̲

         Understood.

We understand that CISCO will purchase CR80 modules
and integrate these modules into their own racks and
in accordance with their own system design.

The system responsibility is therefore laying with
CISCO whereas the responsibility for the correct function
of the modules in accordance with specifications lays
         with Christian Rovsing A/S.

1.2      P̲u̲r̲p̲o̲s̲e̲

         Understood.

            S̲E̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲ ̲I̲I̲ ̲-̲ ̲A̲P̲P̲L̲I̲C̲A̲B̲L̲E̲ ̲D̲O̲C̲U̲M̲E̲N̲T̲S̲

2.1      G̲e̲n̲e̲r̲a̲l̲

CISCO has proposed as the baseline for a contract to
purchase existing Off-the-Shelf items and modified
         items.

These modules have been designed, developed, tested
and manufactured in accordance with various European
standards, MIL-standards and other internal standards.
These standards may differ from the quoted applicable
standards in some areas. We assume that it is not the
intend of CISCO that Christian Rovsing A/S redesign
or rearrange the manufacturing process to comply fully
with all the quoted standards. The following subsections
will provide compliance statements for each of the
         standards.

2.2.     A̲u̲s̲t̲r̲a̲l̲i̲a̲n̲ ̲D̲e̲p̲a̲r̲t̲m̲e̲n̲t̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲D̲e̲f̲e̲n̲c̲e̲

         A.  DEF(AUST)5407 - Possible non-compliance. Christian
Rovsing A/S do not have this standard. Marking
of modules will be in accordance with present Christian
             Rovsing A/S standard.

2.3      U̲.̲S̲.̲ ̲S̲t̲a̲n̲d̲a̲r̲d̲s̲

         A.  Mil-STD-188-100            Comply where applicable

         B.  Mil-STD-188-114            Comply where applicable

         C.  Mil-STD-188-120            Comply where applicable

         D.  EIA RS-310                 Not Applicable.
                                        Racks are not delivered
                                        by CR A/S.

         E.  MIL-STD-454                The equipment is not
                                        manufactured to comply
                                        with MIL-STD-454. The
                                        equipment fulfils internal
                                        and NATO approved standards
                                        to safety.

         F.  MIL-STD-461                Not applicable.
         G.  MIL-STD-462                The shielding is to
                                        be
         H.  MIL-STD-463                made by the Racks and
                                        is therefore part of
                                        the CISCO system responsibility.

         I.  MIL-STD-1472C              Not Applicable. Human

         J.  MIL-HDBK-759               interface is part of
                                        the total system design.

         K.  MIL-STD-180C               CR A/S equipment tests
                                        comply with IEC 62.

         L.  IEEE 488                   Comply where used in
                                        equipment.

4.1.1    G̲e̲n̲e̲r̲a̲l̲ ̲D̲e̲s̲c̲r̲i̲p̲t̲i̲o̲n̲

Partly compliant. The CR80 computer system has been
further developed since the issue of the CR80 Handbook
         in 1981.

Christian Rovsing A/S therefore reserved the right
to analyse and possibly modify the system concept eventually
proposed by CISCO in order to guarantee system functions
as specified in the handbook. Reservation covers all
system level aspects in the CISCO specification.

4.1.2    S̲t̲a̲n̲d̲a̲r̲d̲s̲ ̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲S̲p̲e̲c̲i̲f̲i̲c̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲

         requirements of the computer/switch equipment.

4.1.3    E̲n̲v̲i̲r̲o̲n̲m̲e̲n̲t̲

Understood and aggreed with the following remark: The

Understood and agreed. Design modifications will be
made using the same design and documentation standards
that were used during the design of the unmodified
         module.

4.3.1    I̲t̲e̲m̲ ̲2̲5̲,̲ ̲L̲T̲U̲,̲ ̲F̲o̲u̲r̲-̲P̲o̲r̲t̲,̲ ̲D̲a̲t̲a̲ ̲C̲h̲a̲n̲n̲e̲l̲
