                          Before start of the Dist.Equip.
                          test procedure, verify that

                          1.Th commands typed on the Maint.Pos.VDU
                          are directed to the PU which
                          should execute the test.

                          2.The PU is offline

                          3.The PU is enabled

                          4.The PU is in Normal Mode

                          It is possible to obtain these
                          conditions e̲i̲t̲h̲e̲r̲

                          a) by commands issued fromthe
                          Maint.Pos. VDU via the Watch
                          Dog Subsystem

                          o̲r̲

                          b) by manual switchs settings
                          on the MAP module and a reconfiguration
                          procedure.
