The purpose of this standard is to increase the reliability
and maintainability of computer programs coded in Swell.
The goal is pursued by giving a set of rules to be
followed by all programmers.
The rules will fall in the categories:
a) Restrictions which will forbid the use of language
constructions known to be too risky.
b) Rules intended to reduce the risk of programmer
mistakes.
c) Advise for good programming practice which will
enhance the overall quality of programs.
