- during an ordered close-down
The START-SAD is used:
- after supervisor specification of accept of input/output.
The STOP ̲SAD command is used after supervisor specification

An ordered closedown command to a line handling subprocess
is divided into two phases:
1) COPSY sends an "init close down". This command
is acknowledged upon validation. The interval
actions depend upn the subprocess type.
- for a printer/reader/punch subprocess, the
subprocess will stop processing when a complete
message is printed/read/punched.
- for a channel subprocess, the subprocess wil
stop processing when a complete message is
recived/transmitted.
2) After a closedown time period (specified by the
operator) COPSY sends a "final close down". This
command is acknowledged, when a cancel/suspend/no
