reloaded from the NCC. This is done by the command VARY NET, LOAD, parameters. In
the parameter field the name of the node to be loaded is given. When the node has
been reinitialized it is reactivated by VARY NET, ACT, major node name.
- Trunk Filure:
All sessions using this trunk will be rerouted through alternative trunks. If anode
becomes unreachable due to multiple trunk failures, the line defined in VTAM to
connect that node to the Host is forced deactivated. This is provided withthe link-inoperative
SNA request.
A failing node or a failing trunk is always reported back to the network control
center. The costs are not informed if the logical network configuration has not changed.
