1̲ ̲ ̲I̲N̲T̲R̲O̲D̲U̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
This document identifies the Quality Assurance Requirements
relevant to CAMPS. The application of the QA procedures
to CAMPS software and hardware shall be explained in
the CAMPS QA plan and related documents.
The overall philosophy is that an independent QA authority
will firstly ensure that the contractors QA system
is implemented in accordance with AQAP 1 for HW and
draft AQAP13 for applications software. Secondly the
QAR will witness the achievement of the specific milestones
detailed in the QA plan.
The QAR will liaise with CR via CR QA department and
will report directly to the SHAPE contracts administration
branch.
2̲ ̲ ̲R̲E̲Q̲U̲I̲R̲E̲M̲E̲N̲T̲S̲
2.1 G̲E̲N̲E̲R̲A̲L̲
The CAMPS Contract General Provisions CE-80-9009-INF,
part II, sect. I allow inspections of the CAMPS software
and hardware as and when required by SHAPE or their
authorised QA representatives.
2.1.1 H̲A̲R̲D̲W̲A̲R̲E̲
The QA requirements are defined in AQAP 1 (Edition
2) and are further specified in the latest approved
System Requirements Specification (CPS/210/SYS/0001).
2.1.2 S̲O̲F̲T̲W̲A̲R̲E̲
The QA requirements are defined in draft AQAP 13 (JAN
81). This is applicable to all software exclusive of
that defined in article 12 of the Special Provisions
of Contract CE-80-9009-INF sub para 12.4.3. The software
which is not subject to AQAP 13 will be verified at
the Development System for Maintenance and Test (DSMT)
test which is a formal acceptance test for the system
software.
On completion of this test the system software comes
under full CAMPS QA/Configuration Control.
The documentation of the system and support software
shall be in accordance with the latest approved CAMPS
System Requirements Specification (CPS/210/SYS/0001).
2.2 S̲P̲E̲C̲I̲F̲I̲C̲ ̲R̲E̲Q̲U̲I̲R̲E̲M̲E̲N̲T̲S̲
2.2.1 H̲A̲R̲D̲W̲A̲R̲E̲
The existing CAMPS QA plan CPS/QAP/001 (30/9/80) has
been approved for hardware QA.
2.2.2 S̲O̲F̲T̲W̲A̲R̲E̲
The CAMPS QA plan CPS/QAP/001 (30/9/80) shall be expanded
to include specific software QA activities in accordance
with this document. The plan shall define the software
life-cycle and the specific activities in each phase
as tentatively indicated in table 1 and 2 and figure
1 and 2. The updated plan shall be approved by SHAPE
and the QAR.
For each QA activity the following shall be described:
- The QA activities relevant to the milestones
- The responsibilities of the CR QAD
- The input documents and items required
- The output documents and items to be produced
