(a) This note describes the requirements to the CAMPS
User Guides.
(b) CAMPS s/w is responsible for the contents of the
guides and will supply text and drawings to ILS
in accordance with schedule as presented in the
Milestone Tracking Form,(copy enclosed)
(c) Quality and Quantity of the supplied text will
be in accordance with requirements stated in this
note unless otherwise agreed.
(d) ILS is responsible for the production and delivery
of the finished guides. Likewise, ILS will undertake
a limited amount of editing of the submitted material
and coordinate drafting and layout effort
(e) Furthermore, ILS will examine the submitted draft
for compliance with:
- contractual requirements
- operational requirements
- training requirements
(f) Appendix A to this note is a Write-Up from SHAPE
regarding a proposed "Composition of User Manuals
for CAMPS". The Write-up should be used as a guideline.
(g) Please note that there are three deliveries for
each manual:
1. Table of Contents
2. Synopsis (summary) for all sections
3. First Draft
(h) The synopsis briefly describes the content of all
sections in the following way:
1. Brief Summary
2. Indicate drawings, tables etc. used.
(i) ILS will supply to s/w, a proposed "layout" of
the users guides approx. 2 months before first
delivery from s/w to ILS. This "layout" will present
the format of the guides, methods of presentation
used etc.(see appendix C).
(j) Appendix B to this note is a guideline to writing
the guides.
(k) Appendix C is a copy of the milestone tracking
form related to the preparation of User Guides.
