The purpose of this document is to describe the result
of the SITE 1 Factory Acceptance Test, which took place
at the Christian Rovsing A/S facilities during the
period 831114 to 831117.

2.1 C̲O̲N̲T̲R̲A̲C̲T̲U̲A̲L̲ ̲R̲E̲F̲E̲R̲E̲N̲C̲E̲S̲
During the period of 14 to 17 November, 1983, the
Site 1 Factory Acceptance Test was completed successfully.
The test is specified in the Protocol Converter Test
Plan para's 3.3.2 to 3.3.2.6 and the Protocol Converter
Contract Clause 14.3.
2.2 T̲E̲S̲T̲ ̲B̲A̲S̲E̲L̲I̲N̲E̲
The Factory Acceptance Test Report (this document)
is divided into 6 sections:
1. Protocol Converter Factory Acceptance Test Report,
Site 1,
PC/TRP/0001(1).
2. Protocol Converter Acceptance Test Procedures,
Site 1,
PC/TPR/0001 (2.2) App. A.
3. Minutes of Meeting App. B.
4. Test Log, PC Site 1. App. C.

3 T̲E̲S̲T̲ ̲G̲R̲O̲U̲N̲D̲ ̲R̲U̲L̲E̲S̲
The Site 1 FAT was based on the sequences of tests
described in the test procedures in the document "Protocol
Converter Acceptance Test Procedures, Site 1, PC/TPR/0001(2.2).
During the tests, the results was noted in the test
procedure and the test log. If any comments were necessary,
these were noted in the test procedure and test log
as well.
If a problem was encountered during the test, the problem
was either catagorised as a descrepancy or a defect.
By a descrepancy is meant a mutually agreed issue showing
an agreed date for clearance of the issue. By a defect
is meant a problem which prevented the acceptance of
the test.
Also problems encountered during the test were divided
into two further categories:
o Board Failures
o System Level Failures.
Board failures were corrected immediately by replacement
of the board. System level failures were corrected
after the first test was completed and a retest was
performed.
