The purpose of this document is to verify that the
CR 8308 FLOPPY DISK STATION, in the CAMPS configuration,
is powered in a way that conforms with its voltage
and freqency requerements.
The test is carried out as an analysis of:
a) CAMPS internal power cabeling
of Computer Racks.
b) Comparison between Frequency
Stabilizer output specifications and Floppy Disk
Station power requerements.

Due to its special power requirements, it can be seen
from Figure 2.1-24 page 52 (included in Appendix A)
from CAMPS Assembly Breakdown (Document Reference 1)
that the FLOPPY DISK STATION in Rack B, is powered
from the stabilized supply via 1A1A13, 1A2A9 and 1A2A12.

The AC Voltage Requirements for the Floppy Disk Station
specified in CSD/005/TCM/0078 (Document Reference 3)
are:
220 V + 10 - 6%
or max. 242 V and min. 206.8 V
Voltage output specification for the Frequency Stabilizer
(Document Reference 4) is:
220 V +̲ 5%
or max. 231 and min. 209 V
It is seen that the FLOPPY DISK STATION is operated
within specified voltage limits.
b) F̲r̲e̲q̲u̲e̲n̲c̲y̲.̲
The FLOPPY DISK STATION requires:
50 Hz +̲ 0,5%
or max. 50.25 and min. 49.75 Hz
Frequency output specification for the Frequency Stabilizer
is:
50 Hz +̲ .05%
or max. 50.025 and min. 49975 Hz
This verifies that the FLOPPY DISK STATION is operated
within specified frequency limits.

The power requirements for the FLOPPY DISK STATION
are fulfilled in the CAMPS configuration.
