The System Requirements Specification CPS/210/SYS/0001
version 1.1 was reviewed and agreed updates inserted.
Concurrently a working record of the updates were made
and they are submitted as Working Notes. These notes
are to be regarded as working notes outside the minutes
of meeting.
2 A̲p̲p̲r̲o̲v̲a̲l̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲S̲y̲s̲t̲e̲m̲ ̲R̲e̲q̲u̲i̲r̲e̲m̲e̲n̲t̲ ̲S̲p̲e̲c̲i̲f̲i̲c̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲
All DNs submitted by SHAPE were resolved except for
DN 176 on site preparation. The updated SRS pages have
been mutually agreed on all DNs except DN 176. A master
copy of the agreed upon SRS will be transmitted to
SHAPE within a week for Contracting Officer approval.
The site installation drawing issue in DN 176 is still
to be determined.
3 R̲e̲v̲i̲e̲w̲ ̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲A̲p̲p̲r̲o̲v̲a̲l̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲C̲P̲S̲/̲2̲3̲0̲/̲I̲C̲D̲/̲0̲0̲0̲1̲
All DNs submitted by SHAPE were resolved and the document
updated accordingly.
The conclusion is that SHAPE agrees to the content
of the document as updated. The final approval will
be notified to CR, within 5 days after receipt of a
master copy of the updated document.
The following comments from SHAPE were noted:
1. All DNs have been implemented satisfactorily.
2. DN No. 30, 31, 34, 35, 41 have been implemented
in a draft form and approved by SHAPE
3. DN 68: A small change concerning print out of precedence
has been made.
4. CR/SHAPE agree to remove the flow diagrams.
5. A section on Applicable documents will be inserted
6. Editorial change of format presentation:
- system generated data on the screen in upper
case
- user entered data in lower case
7. All retries, that presently are stated as 10 shall
be 5.
8. Update of transaction ID in accordance with SRS
(Time stamp).
9. SRS doc. page 116: Format B shall be entered in
para 3.2.3.4(b).
10 The final document CPS/230/ICD/0001 will be airfreighted,
and the airway bill number communicated to SHAPE
by telex.

All DNs submitted by SHAPE were resolved except for
two open items
- DN25
- DN120/121
- To close those DNs CR will telex SHAPE 13/10 1980
and SHAPE shall respond by telex no later than
15/10 1980.
- CR will update the CPS/230/ICD/003 and airmail
to SHAPE 22/10 1980 for SHAPE to proofread the
editorial updates.
5 V̲D̲U̲ ̲M̲a̲n̲m̲a̲c̲h̲i̲n̲e̲ ̲I̲n̲t̲e̲r̲f̲a̲c̲e̲
CR informed to SHAPE that the implementation of a more
elaborate vdu mmi will have an impact upon contract
shcedule and cost and will be addressed by CR in a
package proposal to be provided by 1st week of nobember.
Pending the CR reply, SHAPE concluded that the baseline
for the man machine interface should remain the line-by-line
concept as specified in CPS/230/ICD/0001.
6 R̲S̲P̲L̲
CR handed over Issue 2 of the RSPL for SHAPE approval.
7 F̲o̲r̲m̲a̲l̲ ̲P̲r̲o̲g̲r̲e̲s̲s̲ ̲M̲e̲e̲t̲i̲n̲g̲
The minutes of the formal progress meeting is presented
in a separate Minutes of Meetings.
8 P̲r̲o̲g̲r̲a̲m̲ ̲I̲m̲p̲l̲e̲m̲e̲n̲t̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲P̲l̲a̲n̲
The DNs are resolved and a joint understanding is being
developed to be the basis of the contract officers
approval of the PIP.9
9 S̲u̲b̲c̲o̲n̲t̲r̲a̲c̲t̲ ̲M̲a̲n̲a̲g̲e̲m̲e̲n̲t̲ ̲P̲l̲a̲n̲
CR will update the subcontract management plan and
procedures to reflect subcontracts and associated major
milestones. It will be issued the 1/11 1980.
10 R̲e̲m̲o̲t̲e̲ ̲T̲e̲r̲m̲i̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲C̲o̲n̲c̲e̲p̲t̲
The remote terminals will be handled as a contract
amendment. The finalization of the contract amendments
will take place by the end of november.
11 C̲o̲n̲f̲i̲g̲u̲r̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲M̲a̲n̲a̲g̲e̲m̲e̲n̲t̲ ̲P̲l̲a̲n̲
Not covered during meeting.
12 A̲p̲p̲r̲o̲v̲a̲l̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲H̲/̲W̲ ̲C̲o̲n̲f̲i̲g̲u̲r̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲
SHAPE will provide a statement of approval/disapproval
by 13/14 October 1980.
13 F̲r̲e̲q̲u̲e̲n̲c̲y̲ ̲S̲t̲a̲b̲i̲l̲i̲z̲e̲r̲s̲
This topic was handled during the formal CAMPS Progress
Review Meeting on october 9th, 1980.
The subject of frequency stabilization will be part
of the set of change proposals due to SHAPE in the
1st week of november.
14 T̲e̲r̲m̲i̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲D̲e̲v̲i̲c̲e̲ ̲S̲t̲a̲n̲d̲a̲r̲d̲i̲z̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲
CR will provide a summary report 14th October 1980
and a more detailled technical report during first
week of November. These reports will allow SHAPE to
conclude the analysis of the Terminal standardization
and advise CR.
CR asked for a decision on the telex no. 37 of 29.
August 1980. SHAPE could not offer any other answers
than the SHAPE telex 22, which CR finds insufficient.
CR clarified that if the standardization shall succeed
the technical requirements put forward to CR and Burroughs
must be the same. Therefore SHAPE needs to answer the
CR telex No. 37.
15 O̲C̲R̲
CR will provide SHAPE with the specification for an
standard OCR interface defining the data formats and
the electrical interface.
16 S̲u̲p̲e̲r̲v̲i̲s̲o̲r̲ ̲I̲C̲D̲:̲ ̲C̲P̲S̲/̲2̲3̲0̲/̲I̲C̲D̲/̲0̲0̲0̲2̲
SHAPE has reviewed the ICD/0002 and has forwarded their
comments. These comments were received by CR without
the enclosures. SHAPE will clarify the situation.
17 S̲D̲S̲ ̲D̲o̲c̲u̲m̲e̲n̲t̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲S̲t̲a̲n̲d̲a̲r̲d̲ ̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲R̲e̲v̲i̲e̲w̲ ̲C̲r̲i̲t̲e̲r̲i̲a̲
The SHAPE submitted input to the subject standard was
mutually concluded to be in line with CR in house proposals.
CR will develop a final standard. SHAPE will provide
approval of this standard after SHAPE approval of the
System Development Plan.
The SDR will take place after submittal of the SDS
on January 1st, 1981.
18 N̲A̲T̲O̲ ̲H̲Q̲ ̲C̲A̲M̲P̲S̲
CR will participate during meeting on October 14, 1980.
The scope of the contract amendment necessary to expand
the number of terminals must be clearly indicated.
