Christian Rovsing A/S 's support organisation Integrated
Logistics Support Department (ILS) has the total responsibility
for maintenance and technical support.
The ACCESS Program is unique in that respect that it
is the intention that Data Service Division of RCA
Service Company will carry out equipment maintenance
during and after warranty.
Preventive and emergency maintenance will be specified
in a maintenance contract between Christian Rovsing
A/S and RCA based on the requirements stated by AFCC.
However, it would be possible for AFCC to take over
this maintenance contract or undertake this task after
having received training.
The Maintenance and Technical Support Section in PART
II Subpart G describes the Maintenance's Planning taking
place at Christian Rovsing A/S. An overview of the
maintenane documentation is presented and the maintenance
activities at the system is described
2. R̲E̲Q̲U̲I̲R̲E̲M̲E̲N̲T̲S̲ ̲A̲N̲A̲L̲Y̲S̲I̲S̲
Based on the requirements stated in the RFP, Christian
Rovsing A/S's previous experience with similar systems
as well as RCA's proposed role as a maintenance sub-contractor,
the following requirements can be stated:

Christian Rovsing A/S shall provide maintenance to
support the system performance requirements of RFP
Section C.
a. There will be no use of off-site remotely accessed
diagnostic devices connected to the system
b. Christian Rovsing A/S shall provide a primary and
alternate point of contract for notification 24
hours per day, seven days per week.
c. When H/W failure notifications occur within the
PPM, display terminal, terminal printers and video
copiers shall be replaced within two hours following
notification. Line printers, high speed printers,
optical character recorders, graphic digitizers,
color cameras and color graphic copiers shall be
repaired within eight hours following notification.
All other components shall be repaired within
four hours following notification.
When H/W failure notifications occur outside the
PPM, the equipment shall be repaired within 12
hours or by the beginning of the next PPM whichever
is earliest. Calls made within 2 hours of the
beginning of the next PPM will default to the time
requirements in 4) above.
d. Each component shall be maintained to assure a
minimum effectiveness level of 95%.
RFP page H4-5 section H11, Replacement Parts.
Christian Rovsing A/S guarantees component replacement
parts shall be available to the Government for
all items that may be ordered during the life of
this contract. If, for reasons beyond the Christian
Rovsing A/S 's control, replacement parts cease
to be available to,the Government, Christian Rovsing
A/S agrees to provide all data necessary to enable
manufacturing by or for the Government in accordance
with the clause of Section I entitled "Derred Ordering
of Technical Data or Computer Software". Negotiations
resulting from ordering under said clause shall
consider both data generated under this contract
and data developed for other purposes. Moreover,
Christian Rovsing A/S agrees to notify the Procuring
Contracting Officer of component replacement parts
no longer being available for two (2) years after
contract expiration.

Within the PPS, three fully qualified programmers/analysts,
experienced in the ACCESS Application Software
and Operating System, can be placed on site.

In the event that AFCC makes alterations or install
attachments to equipment put in place under this contract
Christian Rovsing A/S shall respond in accordance with
DAR 7.104.86. Mutually agreeable arrangements for
additional maintenance shall be made on an individual
installation basis

All modifications, except safety changes shall be accomplished
at the site.
- RFP, page H12, para. H28a, Preventive Maintenance
Christian Rovsing A/S shall recommend the frequency
and duration of the preventive maintenance required
for the system. Preventive maintenance which exceeds
its scheduled duration shall occur toward downtime.
- RFP, page H12, para. H23c Maintenance Responsibilities
(1) Christian Rovsing A/S shall provide all supplies,
parts, tools and test equipment required for the
maintenance of the system.
(2) Christian Rovsing A/S is responsible for the total
