The Protocol Converter is transparent to most of the
fields in the E1 format. Therefore the testmessages
constructed to test the PC haveonly to vary in a few
         parameters.

PC is dealing with the following parameters:

             1)  SCI - Station Channel Identifier
             2)  TYP - Message Type
             3)  CLS - Message Classification
             4)  PRC - Message Precedence

1.1      S̲t̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲C̲h̲a̲n̲n̲e̲l̲ ̲I̲d̲e̲n̲t̲i̲f̲i̲e̲r̲ ̲-̲ ̲S̲C̲I̲

he SCI value from the E1-format is repeated in the
CCIS segment header at the field of the channel designator
         - CDN.
From the logon-command PC preserves a value for each
link of the SCI. During transmission this value is
         checked against incomming CI values.
The reactions upon wrong SCI values shall be checked
in the test procedures by changing to a false CCIS
         configuration.

1.2      M̲e̲s̲s̲a̲g̲e̲ ̲T̲y̲p̲e̲-̲T̲Y̲P̲

In the TPR of PC the testexamples shall vary the TYP
value between all legal and one false vaue. Notice
that the transaction acknowledgement is not present,
since it is functionally substituted by the Super-ack
         from the dindac protocol.
