ACTION
1 M̲E̲S̲S̲A̲G̲E̲ ̲R̲E̲-̲D̲I̲R̲E̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲ ̲C̲A̲P̲A̲B̲I̲L̲I̲T̲I̲E̲S̲
After the presentation of the subject CR accepted the
responsibility of evaluating an informal paper on th
SHAPE subject which will be prepared by SHAPE. SHAPE will
do so prior to 19 April 1981.
2 A̲D̲D̲R̲E̲S̲S̲ ̲G̲R̲O̲U̲P̲
SHAPE explained how address groups should be handled
(see CAMPS Log No. 177). CR agreed to change the SRS
CR and ICD 001/002 to reflect th capability.
3 C̲L̲A̲R̲I̲F̲I̲C̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲ ̲O̲F̲ ̲C̲A̲T̲ ̲2̲ ̲A̲P̲P̲R̲O̲V̲A̲L̲
A Cat 2 approval will be maintained for the SRS, ICD
001, 002 and ICD 003 until ECP 003, ECP 004, MOM 5
Appendix B, and performance figures (CAMPS Log 155)
has been incorporated. Then a Cat 1 willbe issued.
CR CR will submit the updates to the above by the end
of April. SHAPE will approve or send comments 2 weeks
SHAPE after receipt of the changes.

In order to get a more clear insight into the planning
effort and the dependencies, CR will submit to SHAPE
an
CR updated schedule and a milestone racking list at the
next progress meeting.
5 S̲P̲A̲ ̲C̲L̲A̲R̲I̲F̲I̲C̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
SHAPE asked CR to consider the following change of
CR scope for the SPA software test at Site 1:
In case one or more external interfaces are not available
at site 1 during the curently planned test, the test
related to that interface should be rescheduled and
conducted at the site where the interface for the first
time will become available. The assumption shall be
that SHAPE will accept reduction in the length of the
opertional test period on site one and will grant total
SPA upon completion of the reduced operational test.
6 Q̲A̲ ̲P̲L̲A̲N̲
a) SHAPE proposed that DAMC shall inspect the CR S/W
development effort according to the guidelines
of
SHAPE AQAP 13. SHAPE wil prior to 13 april 81 hand over
CR to CR the proposed standard for CRs evaluation.
b) On OEM QA, SHAPE needs the following info for the
VDU inspection:
- VDU requirements specification
- Acceptance Test Plan
- A statement in the contrac that national QA
shall take place
c) For the Opto link SHAPE accepts that the VERSITRON
contract can be closed on the basis of AQAP9.
7 R̲E̲M̲O̲T̲E̲ ̲T̲E̲R̲M̲I̲N̲A̲L̲ ̲C̲O̲N̲F̲I̲G̲U̲R̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
SHAPE accepted the proposal found in CPS/TCN/024, dated
81.03.30 provided that:
a) The total no of remote sites are expanded to 23
and the priceis adjusted accordingly.
b) There will be V24 communications provided (2 per
site) available in the IDF.
c) There shall be a V24 connection for an OCR at the
remote site.
d) The patch panels will be purchased by SHAPE and
therefore deleted frm the letter of intent.
CR e) CR shall show the placements of the racks in the
CWD.
f) The computer racks shall allow cable entry at the
bottom and the top.
CR SHAPE would like CR to investigate the possibility
of connecting the remote OCR to te existing LTUX.
8 I̲C̲D̲ ̲0̲0̲4̲/̲ ̲I̲C̲D̲ ̲0̲0̲7̲
SHAPE has received 2 letters from CR with suggested
updates for ICD 004 and ICD 007. SHAPE will respond
to
SHAPE CR before Easter.
9 M̲O̲D̲E̲M̲ ̲F̲O̲R̲ ̲R̲E̲M̲O̲T̲E̲ ̲T̲A̲R̲E̲
CR a) SHAPE asked CR for a proposal on two extr modems,
which will be used at the Reitan and Kolsaas locations
of the remote tares connected to Sonor.
CR b) CR will consider IFB requirements for obtaining
PTT approved modems for remote TARE.
SHAPE informed CR that a meeting with the PTT reprsentatives
will take place at NATO during the week of 3 June 1981.
SHAPE SHAPE will supply more details prior to the meeting.
10 M̲O̲D̲E̲M̲ ̲F̲O̲R̲ ̲R̲E̲M̲O̲T̲E̲ ̲T̲E̲R̲M̲I̲N̲A̲L̲S̲
CR CR will respond to the SHAPE request on the subject
prior to 15 April 1981.

CR presented the CAMPS site identification See Appendix
B.
SHAPE accepted the notes.
12 O̲R̲G̲A̲N̲I̲S̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲A̲L̲ ̲C̲H̲A̲R̲T̲
CR SHAPE asked CR to supply an organisation chart with
the names of the people working directly on CAMPS plus
an indication of the number of HW/SW personnel in other
divisionsworking directly for CAMPS.
13 N̲A̲T̲O̲ ̲H̲Q̲ ̲C̲A̲M̲P̲S̲ ̲E̲X̲P̲A̲N̲S̲I̲O̲N̲
CR was informed of the general terms of a possible
hardware expansion of the NATO CAMPS installation.
SHAPE SHAPE will, in the near future, state an official request
for proposal on the exansion.
14 M̲S̲P̲/̲L̲I̲N̲E̲ ̲P̲R̲I̲N̲T̲E̲R̲
a) SHAPE accepted that the TRACOR MODEL 8000 can be
used as MSP and Line printer at all CAMPS sites
except at a not yet defined s/w development site
where the current requirements for the engineering
position shall e maintained. This line printer
will then become an additional device.
CR b) On the remote terminals the following info is needed
or assumptions confirmed before the decision can
be made by SHAPE:
- a sample of the printout
- both V24 and fiber optic I/F shall be provided
- the printer shall have a stand
- a list of differences between the NICSMA printer
and the printer proposed by CR
- theSRS requirements for MSP shall be maintained.
CR will respond as soon as possible.
15 V̲C̲D̲ ̲D̲O̲C̲U̲M̲E̲N̲T̲
The VCD document CPS/VCD/001 was delivered to SHAPE
for information only.
16 A̲C̲C̲E̲P̲T̲A̲N̲C̲E̲ ̲P̲L̲A̲N̲
It was clarified that there are no outstandng DNs.
The document was conditionally approved Cat 2 on 12
March 1981 (CAMPS LOG 165).
17 D̲I̲S̲C̲U̲S̲S̲I̲O̲N̲ ̲O̲F̲ ̲F̲E̲B̲R̲U̲A̲R̲Y̲ ̲P̲R̲O̲G̲R̲E̲S̲S̲ ̲R̲E̲P̲O̲R̲T̲
- SHAPE briefed CR on telex on the subject.
- It was agreed to supply the Acceptance Test Procedures
on 1 June 981.
SHAPE, in trying to determine when the pdr would take
place, surfaced the need for an adequate review (30
days of associated documentation prior to the pdr.
CR stated that the mean date for delivery of pdr documentation
was mid-june which ment that some documentation would
be available before and some available after that date.
Specific dates were unknown at this time. SHAPE reinterated
the need for an adequate documentation review period
and suggested that mid-august might be a more ppropriate
time for the pdr. After more discussion, SHAPE requested
that CR advise SHAPE when the pdr could be held keeping
in mind the SHAPE required documentation review period
of 30 days.
18 R̲S̲P̲L̲
CR asked SHAPE to consider spare procurement in two
phases:
- CR produced equipment
- OEM equipment
CR SHAPE agreed as long as CR can provide an estimate
of the costof the OEM spares and the piece part spares
in %.
a) Agreement below constitutes conclusion on the following
messages: CAMPS Log 099 and CPS/101/tlx/0214. Draft
Msg. CAMPS Log 099 is enclosed as Appendix D to
the minutes.
CR b) CR will reissue he RSPL modified in accordance
with above messages.
c) SHAPE representatives will after review of the
maintenance plan visit CR to discuss possible DNs,
RSPL issues, and depot level test philosophy. SHAPE
SHAPE will telex schedule for visit befoe April 24, 1981
d) Codification will commence after advent of ASPL.
e) SHAPE will pay cost for codification charged by
any NATO or national codification bureau. Payment
will be made directly to bureau.
For all technical matters concerning cdification
CR and national codification bureau may contact
NAMSA NSC directly.
f) CR agreed to pay a visit to AFCENT Repair Depot
to discuss depot level repair. Tentative date for
visit is early May 1981
SHAPE Final date will be telexed to CR b SHAPE after
confirmation with AFCENT.
19 U̲P̲D̲A̲T̲E̲S̲ ̲O̲F̲ ̲S̲R̲S̲,̲ ̲I̲C̲D̲ ̲0̲0̲0̲1̲ ̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲I̲C̲D̲ ̲0̲0̲0̲2̲
ICD 0001 should be updated to include the "REPEAT"
capability as contained in the SRS.
CR ICD 0002 should be updated to include the "READDRESSAL"
capability as in the SRS.

CR presented the capabilities to modify software as
described in he attached Appendix A.
The solution was left open for further discussion at
a meeting scheduled for May 5 - 6, 1981.
21 E̲R̲R̲O̲R̲ ̲H̲A̲N̲D̲L̲I̲N̲G̲
CR presented the actions they had taken to ensure that
the error handling/recovery is covered properly duing
preliminary design.
22 S̲W̲ ̲C̲O̲N̲F̲I̲G̲U̲R̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲ ̲P̲R̲O̲C̲E̲D̲U̲R̲E̲S̲
CR confirmed that each component part of the total
CAMPS software package bearing a configuration control
number will be marked by version number and date to
support the required configuraion management procedures.
23 T̲R̲A̲I̲N̲I̲N̲G̲ ̲P̲L̲A̲N̲ ̲-̲ ̲I̲N̲S̲T̲A̲L̲L̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲ ̲S̲C̲H̲E̲D̲U̲L̲E̲
CR a) A new plan will be submitted based on the installation
dates in the Master schedule.
b) R̲S̲T̲ ̲T̲r̲a̲n̲i̲n̲g̲
CR A revised training plan for RSTS will be submitted
based on:
1. Equal training time for all RSTS at the CR factory.
2. Availability at sites before SPA dates.
3. CRs assessment of individual expertise necessary
for warranty support purposes.
c) M̲i̲l̲i̲t̲a̲r̲y̲ ̲T̲e̲c̲h̲n̲i̲c̲i̲a̲n̲ ̲T̲r̲a̲i̲n̲i̲n̲g̲
CR CR will examine the possibility of putting back
courses 1 and 2 to early 1983 in order more closely
to match PSA dates (Apr 1983) for sites 1 4.
CR d) CR will examine possibility (including cost impact,
if any) of running course 8 at NCS Latina in early
1984 instead of Copenhagen (Nov.-Dec. 1983).
e) T̲r̲a̲i̲n̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲N̲C̲S̲ ̲I̲n̲s̲t̲r̲u̲c̲t̲o̲r̲s̲
CR CR will examine possibility of raising number of
stdents from 6 to 7 on RST Course 2 (2nd half 1982)
in order to accomodate 2 instructors from NCS Latina.

CAMPS Site Design concept, Issue 1 (CPS/TCN/023) was
