The scope of this procedure is all changes to baselined
configuration items within the CAMPS program.
Configuration items which are not yet baselined (SHAPE
approve Category 1) are not within the scope of this
procedure. Changes to such items are considered merely
corrections, which may be initiated by Discrepancy
Notes (DNs) or - if the corrections are without technical
implication (spelling errors, linguisic unclearness,
minor mistakes, etc.) - by a quite informal note.
2̲ ̲ ̲P̲U̲R̲P̲O̲S̲E̲
The purpose of this procedure is to ensure
a) firm and adequate registration of all engineering
changes to baselined items
b) conformance/conformity of he change proposals/orders
in order to accomplish adequate and equal consideration
of any engineering change.
c) to ensure that engineering changes are so clearly
and firmly described that a once achieved Category

4.1 P̲R̲O̲P̲O̲S̲A̲L̲S̲ ̲F̲O̲R̲ ̲C̲H̲A̲N̲G̲E̲
4.1.1 O̲r̲i̲g̲i̲n̲a̲t̲o̲r̲
An member of the CR CAMPS program team as well as any
SHAPE official with legal interest in the CAMPS program
is entitled to issue change proposals.
4.1.2 C̲h̲a̲n̲g̲e̲ ̲P̲r̲o̲p̲o̲s̲a̲l̲ ̲F̲o̲r̲m̲
a) Any engineering change proposal must be written
on the form ENGINERING CHANGE PROPOSAL (ECP), which
is shown in fig. 5-1 and 5-2.
b) The ECP form consists of two sheets: a front page
and a "following" pages form. Text which is not
acommodated on the front page may be written on
following pages with adequate ref
