This statement of work (SOW) for delivery of the NEC CCIS
com- munication subsystem (CDIMS) identifies the Work Packages
which constitute Christian Rovsing A/S (CRAS) deliveries.
CRAS deliveries group in three major tasks:
a. Development and delivery from CRAS plant of CDIMS
subsystems which fulfill the appropriate requirements
as identified in this SOW.
b. Support of CDIMS systems delivered to Burroughs
FSSG in Paoli, Pa. (4 systems) and McLean, Va (1
system).
c. Logistics support including site survey and installation
support.
All schedules given in this document are relative to award
of CDIMS order by Burroughs Corporation to Christian Rovsing

The hardware deliveries are as follows:
a. At the end of the 14th month shipment from CRAS
of 3 CR80D systems with limited CDIMS capability
in form of interface capability to B 5900 as well
as to Aydin Controller. Two of the systems will
be shipped to Burroughs FSSG, Paoli, Pa. while
the third will be shipped to SDC, McLean, Va. One
of the systems will be equipped with disks.
b. At the completion of the CDIMS CI/CPCI tests (end
of month 19) shipment from CRAS of those additional
CR80D modules which are required to upgrade the
three previously shipped systems to respectively
the ACBA SWHQ, NORCCIS PSC/CRC and RSSC CDIMS configurations.

FSSG, Paoli of the second NORCCIS PSC as well as a
CRC configuration.

o conduct design reviews at CRAS, Ballerup of
hardware/software items for which CRAS is
responsible
o participate in major design reviews
o limited participation in working groups con-

Burroughs shall provide CRAS with the following in-

This WP covers CRAS contribution to level B-spec (de-
velopment design specification) for the CDIMS.
It includes the conduction of preliminary and critical
design reviews at CRAS, Ballerup.
It includes the engineering input required with respect
to documentation and review of same.

In order to meet the schedule Burroughs shall provide
specifications to CRAS as specified in WP 2.2.1 and

on maintainability plan and demonstration

the initial site survey. CRAS will cover the areas

This WP covers the conduction of two 3-week training

N.
Courses will be conducted in English and as described
in the Burroughs Proposal.
The WP covers preparation, conduction, materials, fa-
cilities during the length of the course. The level
will be
hardware - pull and replacement basis
software - to the extent required to modify software
by e.g. incorporation of patches and
re-compilation.

The WP includes maintenance of CRAS produced equipment.

Burroughs shall be responsible for installation, operation
and maintenance and later refurbishment of B 5900 as

This WP covers CRAS hardware and software support of
the five CDIMS communication front-ends installed with
one at SDC, McLean and four at Burroughs, Paoli.
Included is support in form of spare parts as required
to maintain above sites in US. Faulty modules to be
shipped by Burroughs to CRAS, Ballerup for repair.

This WP covers CRAS Technical FE-support during site
in- stallation of the 19 NEC CCIS installations in
Denmark and Norway. CRAS FE participation will cover
installation and Check-out on the site with respect
to the CR80D com- munications front-end and associated
optical fibre cable runs to display controllers.
It includes maintenance support during the warranty
period.

Burroughs has overall installation responsibility.
Cable runs, cableducts, piping etc. is provided by
the customer and is ready before CRAS installation
can take place. It will be the full responsibility
of Burroughs to ensure that site readiness on CRAS
items is ensured through a site verification prior
to installation.
