             1.  Presentation of CAMPS H/W Units.

                 In-plant COMSEC VERIFICATION SPECIFICATION.

             4.  Equipment for test set-up for In-plant
                 COMSEC VERIFICATION.

         A̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲

         1.  The CAMPS H/W in integration and test
             at the Integration Area was inspected.


         2.  The Test Site location was inspected.
             Existing cables was identified.

             2 drawings were handed out to ACE COMSEC
             showing the Test site location and the
             general cable installation (Power, phone,
             light).



             The proposed cable routing for power and
             signal cables was identified.

             The positioning of the units included
             in the test set-up was determined based
             on CPS/TCN/039.
         CR/KM   This document needs update to include
                 additional units. (See encl. ES 3-445).


         3.  I̲N̲ ̲P̲L̲A̲N̲T̲ ̲C̲O̲M̲S̲E̲C̲ ̲V̲E̲R̲I̲F̲I̲C̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲ ̲S̲P̲E̲C̲.̲,̲ ̲D̲O̲C̲.̲
             ̲C̲P̲S̲/̲T̲S̲S̲/̲0̲0̲2̲.̲

         3.1 The document was reviewed. DN's and comments
             was identified and incorporated.

             The Updated document (issue 1) was accepted
             by ACE COMSEC.

         CR/URH  CR will forward the document to SHAPE
                 for formal registration and approval.

         3.2 Two documents, which are applicable for
             CPS/TSS/002, were handed out to ACE COMSEC
             FOR INFO:

             a)  CPS/TCN/039:                                    COMSEC
                                                                 TEST
                                                                 SYSTEM
                                                                 FACILITY
                                                                 LAYOUT.

             b)  CPS/TCN/040:                                    CAMPS
                                                                 INSTALLATION
                                                                 MATERIAL.


         4.  S̲C̲H̲E̲D̲U̲L̲E̲ ̲A̲N̲D̲ ̲D̲E̲L̲I̲V̲E̲R̲A̲B̲L̲E̲S̲

         4.1 S̲c̲h̲e̲d̲u̲l̲e̲

             CR informed of the following schedule
             for the In-Plant Comsec Verification.:

             820315: Start:                                      Installation
                                                                 of
                                                                 Equipment.

             820601: Start formal verification. This
                     is based on:

                     a)    DSMT H/W Test accomplished
                           820501.

                     b)    Integration and Dry run
                           of H/W-system as baselined
                           by a) above within 1 month.

         4.2 E̲q̲u̲i̲p̲m̲e̲n̲t̲

             Below is listed the equipment to be supplied
             by SHAPE/ACE COMSEC FOR THE Test Set-up.
             The appended drawing ES 3-445 is updated
             to include this equipment.



             a)  To permit testing of Low-speed line
                 (TRC, P-to-P) the following equipment
                 shall be used:

                 2 BID 610  (200W each)
                 2 BID 1000 (150W each)

                 CR will provide power for this equipment.

                 CR will also provide a 2 inch. steel
                 pipe from rack F to  table with PTP/PTR.
                 The pipe will contain the following
                 cables:

                 2 cables to 2 BID 1000
                 1 cable  to PTP/PTR
                 2 cables to 4L lines

         SHAPE/  b)  SHAPE will provide 4 PLF for 3
                     phases + neutral
         ACE     as soon as possible or prior to april
                 1, 1982.
         COMSEC      The filters must be rated for
                     a working current
         Confirm           of 40 A.

             c)  D̲e̲l̲i̲v̲e̲r̲y̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲e̲q̲u̲i̲p̲m̲e̲n̲t̲:̲ ̲B̲y̲ ̲C̲O̲M̲S̲E̲C̲

                 c1)       Prior to 1. april:

                           4 Power Line Filters (40A)
                           5 X 20 metres metallic cables
                           for BID 1000, PTP/PTR, Low
                           Speed Terminals.
                 1 Teleprinter with 4L I/F.

                 c2)       Prior to 1. june

                           2 BID 610 + ancilliertes
                           (racks + cables + ITL's
                           + T & M Panels).
                           1 Modem rack for 2 modems
                           1 Crypto rack for 2 BID
                           1000.

                 c3)       2 BID 1000 is already at
                           CR (used in FAT of CRT).

                 CR will install the PLF and the metallic
                 cables - COMSEC will install the delivered
                 equipment and terminate the cables
                 except at the PTP/PTR.


              T̲E̲S̲T̲ ̲S̲E̲T̲ ̲U̲P̲ ̲B̲Y̲ ̲C̲O̲M̲S̲E̲C̲


         5.  M̲E̲T̲A̲L̲L̲I̲C̲ ̲C̲A̲B̲L̲E̲S̲

             a)  Cable size (refer to CAMPS Log 506).
                 CR informed that a max. of 25 cables
                 with a diameter of 9 mm could be pulled
                 through the 2 1/2 inch. port of the
                 filterbox.

                 Two ports are used:

                 One for 25 LSM cables
                 One for 6 - 10 medium speed cables.

                 COMSEC does not see any problems in
                 above and will return with comments
                 to Log 506.

             b)  COMSEC confirmed that metallic signal
                 cables are to be run in ferrous duct
                 within the CAMPS room as specified
                 in CPS/TCN/023.

                 COMSEC will clarify CAMPS Log 503.
