I̲N̲T̲R̲O̲D̲U̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
This volume presents a fixed price proposal for the
equipment and services specified in the Christian Rovsing
A/S supplied:
BURMA - AMSS
Proposal
Part I: Management Proposal
Part II: Technical Proposal
The price proposal consists of the following sections:
Section 1 provides a description of the principles
of the price proposal and a price summary
Section 2 provides the bidding provisions; this includes
all compliance sheets
Section 3 provides a price breakdown as required
by the tender statement.
Section 4 provides the hardware equipment matrix.
1.1 P̲R̲I̲C̲I̲N̲G̲ ̲P̲R̲I̲N̲C̲I̲P̲L̲E̲S̲ ̲A̲N̲D̲ ̲S̲U̲M̲M̲A̲R̲Y̲
1.1.1 P̲r̲i̲n̲c̲i̲p̲l̲e̲s̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲t̲h̲e̲ ̲P̲r̲i̲c̲e̲ ̲P̲r̲o̲p̲o̲s̲a̲l̲
The Price proposal has been based on a work breakdown
structure. The Work Breakdown Structure is created
by dividing all aspects of the project into major tasks.
For each of the major tasks a further breakdown is
generated detailing for instance hardware, software,
and support tasks.
The WBS consists, therefore, of a family tree of tasks
organized to define and display the work to be accomplished
for successful implementation of a project.
The cost of the tasks at the lowest level has been
estimated based on manpower-estimates and cost-estimates.
By adding the costs of the tasks at a certain level
in the WBS, the cost at a higher level in the WBS has
been found.
The price of a certain element in the WBS, therefore,
reflects the cost to complete the task.
1.1.2 P̲r̲i̲c̲e̲
The firm fixed price is:
Dkr. 14,840,246

1.1.3 P̲r̲i̲c̲e̲ ̲S̲u̲m̲m̲a̲r̲y̲ ̲o̲n̲ ̲"̲T̲e̲n̲d̲e̲r̲ ̲F̲o̲r̲m̲"̲
The price breakdown on the requested tender form is
given below.
1.2 B̲I̲D̲D̲I̲N̲G̲ ̲P̲R̲O̲V̲I̲S̲I̲O̲N̲S̲
1.2.1 G̲e̲n̲e̲r̲a̲l̲
This proposal reflects the suggested solution by Christian
Rovsing A/S in achieving the request from ICAO. However,
Christian Rovsing A/S is willing to discuss any change
in the proposal that ICAO may wish. Such changes shall
be reflected in the price submitted for this project.
1.2.2 S̲p̲e̲c̲i̲f̲i̲c̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲s̲
Christian Rovsing A/S assumes that the contract negotiated
between ICAO and Christian Rovsing A/S will define
the scope of work to be performed under the contract
and refer to a statement of work to be appended to
the contract and to form an integral part of the contract.
Christian Rovsing A/S further assumes that the initial
phase of the contractual work will be directed at drafting
a System Requirements Specification, SRS, to exhaustively
define all functional requirements of the system. Once
completed, the SRS will be submitted to ICAO for approval
- or otherwise - and signature. The agreed and signed
SRS will at this stage replace the statement of work
and supersede the RFP and this present proposal.
1.2.3 P̲a̲t̲e̲n̲t̲ ̲R̲i̲g̲h̲t̲s̲
All patent and intellectual proprietary rights to equipment
developed and built for the project remain the exclusive
property of Christian Rovsing A/S or its suppliers.
1.2.4 G̲o̲v̲e̲r̲n̲m̲e̲n̲t̲ ̲R̲e̲s̲t̲r̲i̲c̲t̲i̲o̲n̲s̲
The proposal is prepared taking into consideration
only the legislation in force as of today. In case
of legislation affecting this project or in case government
restrictions are imposed on Christian Rovsing A/S after
this date, the proposal shall be adjusted accordingly.
1.2.5 T̲a̲x̲e̲s̲ ̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲D̲u̲t̲i̲e̲s̲
All prices are quoted without any taxes and duties.
1.2.6 P̲a̲y̲m̲e̲n̲t̲s̲
Christian Rovsing A/S assume, in the price proposal
submitted, a 100% payment 30 days after final acceptance.
A reduction in the total price can be effected if a
cash downpayment at contract signature is offered.
The final terms of the downpayment and subsequent reduction
are to be negotiated.
1.2.7 V̲a̲l̲i̲d̲i̲t̲y̲
This offer is valid until 15 March 1984.
1.2.8 C̲o̲m̲p̲l̲i̲a̲n̲c̲e̲ ̲S̲h̲e̲e̲t̲s̲
