Ref.: Meeting 820420, participants: KNN, KPL,
HKI, SL, SRA, CGR
On the referenced meeting following was aggreed:
1) Upon power up the LTUX-S opens LOG. channels 2-5
towards either Host no. 1 or Host no. 2. The Host
no. to be used is set on the user switch on the
LTUX-S. This switch consists of 4 single switches
of which only switch 1 is used. The switch is read
from I/O address #E0 with switch 1 reflected in
databit 3. Host no. 1 shall be selected if this
bit equals …08…0…08… and no. 2 is selected if the bit equals
…08…1…08….
2) The LTUX-S shall act completely transparrent to
data transmitted from CR80 to a connected terminal.
LDU headers shall be stripped from the raw data.
3) When receiving from a connected terminal the LTUX-S
shall consider a DC3 (#13) character as the terminating
character. The DC3 shall not be transmitted towards
CR80. The LTUX-S shall insert the correct LDU headers.
4) The present design with 32 bytes buffers on the
LTUX-S is maintained.
5) The present V24 driver design with …08…NULL…08… characters
transmitted is maintained since the …08…NULL…08… characters
will not affect the VDU or MSP.

1.1 E̲Q̲U̲I̲P̲M̲E̲N̲T̲ ̲M̲A̲T̲R̲I̲X̲ ̲C̲H̲A̲N̲G̲E̲S̲
When the firmware baseline is changed, the equipment
matrix needs to be updated according to the combined
connectivity tables for MAIN CAMPS and CAMPS REMOTE
TERMINALS.
The following principles are applied:
a) VDU and MSP channels are not supported from the
same LTUX-S.
b) Connected capacity is unchanged
c) Equipped capacity is not decreased
d) If the equipped capacity is increased, the wired
capacity is decreased accordingly.
