1.1 P̲U̲R̲P̲O̲S̲E̲
The purpose of this document is to identify the inspections
necessary to verify that all equipment have been delivered
to the Site in accordance with the property inventory
list and to state the criteria of responsibilities.

2̲ ̲ ̲R̲e̲c̲e̲i̲p̲t̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲E̲q̲u̲i̲p̲m̲e̲n̲t̲ ̲a̲t̲ ̲t̲h̲e̲ ̲S̲i̲t̲e̲
2.1 R̲E̲C̲E̲I̲P̲T̲
The receipt of the equipment at the site will be performed
by CR's installation team. The installation team or
a CR representative will arrive one day in advance
of the truck carrying the equipment. The transportation
company (2 men) will assist CR in moving equipment
to the installation area.
2.2 S̲H̲I̲P̲P̲I̲N̲G̲ ̲D̲O̲C̲U̲M̲E̲N̲T̲S̲
The shipment will be accompanied by the following shipping
documents:
- A complete set of packing lists
- Proforma Invoice
- Shipping Letter
- Customs Form 302
- Authorization to Ship telex
All containers are marked with a package number. A
set of above documents is enclosed in container No.
1 and a set is attached to the outside of container
No. 1.
2.3 S̲H̲I̲P̲M̲E̲N̲T̲ ̲C̲O̲M̲P̲O̲S̲I̲T̲I̲O̲N̲
a) The shipment consists of a number of containers.
Each container is marked with a unique number.
b) The CAMPS equipment for the sites will be shipped
dissassembled and packed as follows:
- Rack Assemblies are spearated in individual racks
and packed in a wooden container.
Similar containers are used for shipment of the
Frequency Stabilizer Rack and the Modem Rack (TARE).
- Disk Units, Multiplexers, Frequency Units, Power
Linefilters and Modules are removed from the racks
and shipped in their own containers.
- Cables between racks are generally shipped as part
of one of the racks.
- Terminal equipment (VDU, MSP, PTP/PTR) and auxiliary
equipment (tables, storage cabinet) are shipped
in their own containers.
- Site spare parts are individually packed and are
shipped together with the main equipment.
3̲ ̲ ̲I̲N̲C̲O̲M̲I̲N̲G̲ ̲I̲N̲V̲E̲N̲T̲O̲R̲Y̲ ̲C̲H̲E̲C̲K̲
3.1 I̲N̲C̲O̲M̲I̲N̲G̲ ̲I̲N̲V̲E̲N̲T̲O̲R̲Y̲/̲I̲N̲S̲P̲E̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲)
1) CR will perform an incoming inventory of the containers
according to the packing lists found attached to
the out side of container No. 1.
2) Before the containers are moved to the installation
site, the containers will be inspected for any
visual damages.
3) The results of the above mentioned 1) and 2) will
be recorded and a copy will be given to the transportation
company.
4) The incoming inventory/inspections of the containers
are witnessed by the local property custodian.
5) The shipment documents (ref. 2.2) are handed over
to the property custodian.
6) The packing list will form the record of the incoming
inventory and will be signed by the property custodian
of the site and given "back" to the transportation
company or the CR representative.
7) A copy of the signed packing list will be retained
by the property custodin of the site for evidence
of receipt in relationship to the Shape/Territorial
Host Nation responsibilities stated in paragrapgh
3.2 below.
3.2 R̲E̲S̲P̲O̲N̲S̲I̲B̲I̲L̲I̲T̲Y̲
1) SHAPE/Teritorial Host Nation (THN) takes over the
responsibility of the equipment after the incoming
inventory/inspection regarding fire-, water-, theft
and other damages to the equipment not caused by
the CR installation team.
2) The responsibility regarding damages to the equipment
caused by the CR installation team during the installation
period up to completion of SPA remains with CR.
3) SHAPE/THN takes over all the above mentioned responsibilities
after completion of SPA.
4̲ ̲ ̲F̲I̲N̲A̲L̲ ̲I̲N̲V̲E̲N̲T̲O̲R̲Y̲ ̲C̲H̲E̲C̲K̲
4.1 P̲U̲R̲P̲O̲S̲E̲
The inventory check shall verify that all equipment
to subassembly level related to the actual site has
been delivered in accordance with the contents of the
property inventory list.
4.2 P̲E̲R̲S̲O̲N̲N̲E̲L̲ ̲R̲E̲Q̲U̲I̲R̲E̲M̲E̲N̲T̲S̲
The official inventory check will be done by the customer
assisted by a CR representative.
4.3 P̲R̲O̲P̲E̲R̲T̲Y̲ ̲I̲N̲V̲E̲N̲T̲O̲R̲Y̲ ̲L̲I̲S̲T̲
a) CR will prepare a property inventory list for each
site.
b) The inventory list is prepared in block form and
has the following sections (see Appendix A):
1) Main Equipments and disk units
(Racks, Modules, Cables, etc.)
2) Terminal Equipments
(VDU), Printers, and PTP/PTR)
3) Ancillary Equipments
(Cabinets, Tables, etc.)
4) Tools and Test Equipment for hardware and software
5) Installation Material
6) Documentation for hardware and software
7) Spare Parts
8) Verification
9) All Software Deliverables
c) The inventory list includes the following Data
elements:
1) Site Number
2) Item Number
3) Description
4) True Manufacturers Part Number
5) Serial Number
6) Manufacturers Identification Code
7) NATO Stock No.
8) Configuration Reference (CM/MR Items)
9) Remarks
10) Delivered Quantity
11) Received Quantity
d) The Assembly Reference will be a separate document
which contains the following information: True
Manufacturers Part No., Assembly Reference, and
a column for Serial Numbers. An example of this
document is attached at Appendix A.
4.4 I̲N̲T̲E̲R̲N̲A̲L̲ ̲I̲N̲V̲E̲N̲T̲O̲R̲Y̲ ̲C̲H̲E̲C̲K̲
a) CR will check the inventory list against the installed
equipment prior to the time of the SPA.
b) The inventory list will be updated to reflect the
final status at the time of the SPA.
4.5 O̲F̲F̲I̲C̲I̲A̲L̲ ̲I̲N̲V̲E̲N̲T̲O̲R̲Y̲ ̲C̲H̲E̲C̲K̲
a) As a part of the SPA, the customer will perform
an official inventory check.
b) The marked up inventory list will form the record
of all equipment and other items that has been
delivered.
c) The official inventory check will be witnessed
by CR.
d) The results of the official inventory check will
be recorded on the marked up inventory list.
e) The verification part of the inventory list will
be signed by both parties.
NOTE: The inventory list will be checked against
the documents referenced in paragraph 1.2.1, 1.2.4,
1.2.5, The Site ASPL, Tools and Test Equipment
List, Software Delivereables, and the Documentation
Plan to ensure that all contracted items have been
