The power cables coming from the CAMPS power distribution
board will be terminated in the Frequency Stabilizer
and the power line filters of Rack A, B, and E.
5 E̲x̲t̲e̲r̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲S̲i̲g̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲C̲a̲b̲l̲e̲s̲
Opto fibre cables coming from the user terminals
entering rack D through the CR installed conduits
will be distributed to their respective termination
points in racks C, D, and E.
Cables from rack D to the supervisory and maintenance
positions will be installed.
All metallic cables coming from the customer delivered
LSM terminals as well as the metallic cables coming
from other connections (e.g. SCARS, CCIS, etc)
will be installed in the filter box of rack F through
the CR installed metallic conduit.
Interrack cables between the computer and line
termination units will be installed.
6 I̲n̲t̲e̲r̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲S̲i̲g̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲C̲a̲b̲l̲e̲s̲
All internal signal cables in the computer and
line termination units, disconnected for the transportation,
will be reinstalled. Cables not dismounted will
be checked for being properly connected.
7 T̲e̲r̲m̲i̲n̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲E̲x̲t̲e̲r̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲S̲i̲g̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲C̲a̲b̲l̲e̲s̲
All opto fibre cables to be connected on front
of the line termination unit (racks D, E and G)
will be terminated with special opto connectors.
Metallic interface cables to be connected in the
filterbox of rack F are to be terminated by customer.
8 R̲e̲m̲o̲t̲e̲ ̲T̲A̲R̲E̲ ̲S̲i̲t̲e̲ ̲A̲
The TARE rack at the remote TARE site will be integrated
and connected. An end to end test between the TARE
racks at the main and remote site will be performed.
9 I̲n̲s̲t̲a̲l̲l̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲R̲e̲m̲o̲t̲e̲ ̲T̲e̲r̲m̲i̲n̲a̲l̲s̲ ̲S̲i̲t̲e̲ ̲A̲
The user terminals at CRT A will be installed and
connected to the stat. mux. rack.
A local test will be performed.
10 R̲e̲m̲o̲t̲e̲ ̲T̲A̲R̲E̲ ̲S̲i̲t̲e̲ ̲B̲
A test between the TARE rack at the main and the
remote site will be performed.
11 I̲n̲s̲t̲a̲l̲l̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲R̲e̲m̲o̲t̲e̲ ̲T̲e̲r̲m̲i̲n̲a̲l̲s̲ ̲S̲i̲t̲e̲ ̲B̲
The user terminals at CRT B will be installed and
connected to the stat. mux. rack.
A local test will be performed.
12 I̲n̲t̲e̲r̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲P̲o̲w̲e̲r̲ ̲C̲a̲b̲l̲e̲s̲
All internal power cables disconnected for transportation
will be reinstalled in the computer and line termination
unit.
13 I̲n̲s̲t̲a̲l̲l̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲T̲e̲r̲m̲i̲n̲a̲l̲s̲
All opto fibre cables for the User-, Maintenance-,
and Supervisory Terminals will be terminated with
special opto connectors. Before connecting the
cables to the optical modem boards, they will be
checked for adequate light emission.
The terminals will be powered up and tested locally.
14 P̲o̲w̲e̲r̲ ̲U̲p̲ ̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲T̲e̲s̲t̲
Powering up the computer and line termination units
will be performed in a certain sequence in order
to check that power groups and phases are correctly
distributed.
To ensure that the hardware will be able to support
all required CAMPS functions, a functional test
will be carried out according to the specified
site verification procedure.
