The CAMPS file system structure is as shown on figure
11-1. It contains two parallel File Management Systems.
One system accesses the mirred fixed discs and one
accesses the mirred moving discs together with the
off-line disc. The disc volumes are divided into four
groups:
MIR ̲FIXED VOLUME
MIR ̲MOVING VOLUME
SYS ̲GEN VOLUME
OTHER OFFLINE VOLUMES
The reason for separation of the volume into these
four groups is that they have a different root directory
structure. The Root Directory Structure for each volume
is shown on figures 11-2. 11-3.11-4 and 11-5. A contents
list for each volume is shown on figures 11-6 and 11-7.
It shall be remarked that the off-line volume SYS ̲GEN
only contains data used during a start up and therefore
dump of MMS Storage can not be performed on this volume.
Whereas dump of TMP tables can only be performed on
the SYS ̲GEN volume and not on the other off-line volumes.
If in the Volume Contents List a file or directory
name appears in several volumes, this means, that the
file or directory structure is identical for any volume.
The file specification only specifies data, which is
necessary to create the file. As no files are shared
between two packages, no data layout of the files are
shown in the specifications.

In all cases the first eight words of TRACE ̲DATA contains
register values. The link register is especially important,
as it gives the location in the application program
from where the system call was made.
For SMON calls the link register is R6.
For other CSF calls the link register is R7
Functions having waiting points will normally generate
two trace records. The first one is at call time,
showing call parameters. The second one is at return
time, showing return parameters.
The function names appearing in the list are the names
to be used in printout of trace records.
