1.       S̲C̲O̲P̲E̲

         The scope of this document is to keep S/W under configuration control.

         A copy of this document shall be found at each site.  Each change of S/W shall be logged
         in this document.



2.       I̲N̲T̲R̲O̲D̲U̲C̲T̲I̲O̲N̲

         On a Node/MEDE:

         1.  Node/MEDE operational S/W package
         2.  Node/MEDE offline     S/W package
         
         On a SCC:

         1.  SCC  operational S/W package
         2.  SCC  offline     S/W package

         In chapter 4.1, and 4.2 the current S/W modules in each package are listed with version number,
         installation date and installator.

         Chapter 5.1 and 5.2 include a set of release descriptions for each module in each package.


3.       H̲O̲W̲ ̲T̲O̲ ̲L̲O̲G̲ ̲N̲E̲W̲ ̲I̲N̲S̲T̲A̲L̲L̲A̲T̲I̲O̲N̲S̲

         N̲E̲W̲ ̲R̲E̲L̲E̲A̲S̲E̲S̲:̲

         1.  Update the S/W package list (chapter 4.1 or 2)
             with the new version/release number and installation date.

         2.  Insert a RELEASE DESCRIPTION (chapter 5.1 or 2) for the actual module.

         P̲A̲T̲C̲H̲E̲S̲:

         Patches are logged by updating the PATCH log in the release description of the module version
         which is patched (chapter 5.1 or 2).
