One type of commands may be issued by CWD to CPM:
o CPM Operational Mode Control
All commands are delivered to CPM&C (ref. 3.3.3.3.2.2)
which maintains the CPM Operational Mode in accordance
to the CIP Operational Mode change reported in
the CWD Command letter, and which forward commands
to the MSS.
CPM Operational Mode, on the other hand, controls
the messge distribution function performed, and
may be in one of four states:
O: Off-line
S: Stand-by
H: Hunt
A: Active
States "O" and "S" correspond to the CIP ̲Operational-Mode
states "O" and "S", while both states "H" and "A"
are CIPOPM "A
