UNIX|STAT is a public domain statistical package
developed by Gary Perlman
using educational UNIX licenses at
the University of California, San Diego,
and at the Wang Institute of Graduate Studies.
UNIX|STAT is not supported by either of the organizations,
and
UNIX|STAT is not a product of Bell Laboratories.

UNIX|STAT programs come with no support or claims of validity.
These are programs used at your own risk.
However, all known bugs have been removed from the programs.
Problems with portability to new UNIX lookalike systems
should be reported to Gary Perlman.
Bugs should also be reported so they can be corrected.
No support for the use of programs is provided,
other than the standard UNIX|STAT documentation.
