MANSTAT(1) UNIX User's Manual MANSTAT(1)

NAME
manstat - print manual entry on a UNIX|STAT program

SYNOPSIS
     manstat [-u] [-m macros] [-d docdir] program ...

DESCRIPTION
_▶08◀M_▶08◀a_▶08◀n_▶08◀s_▶08◀t_▶08◀a_▶08◀t prints the manual entries for the named programs.
If it can't find them, it hands the task to _▶08◀m_▶08◀a_▶08◀n.

OPTIONS
     -m macros
This option specifies the macros to use to format the
manual entries. By default these are the ``an'' or
          ``-man'' macros.

     -d docdir
This option specifies the directory where the UNIX|STAT
manual entries are kept. This directory should have
two sub-directories: man, where all _▶08◀n_▶08◀r_▶08◀o_▶08◀f_▶08◀f source files
are kept, and cat, where formatted files are saved. In
the man directory, files should have a ".1" suffix.

-u Update pre-formatted versions only. Do not print
          UNIX|STAT documents.
