Autopun converts an English phrase into a table of phonetically-similar
words, useful for creating rebus, punch-lines for shaggy-dog stories, and
other perversions of spoken English.

For more practically-minded folks, autopun includes phoneme.c, an English-
text-to-phoneme translator (i.e., a text speaker) derived from an earlier
posting.
