.I Popper
is a POP 3 server normally involked by 
.IR inetd (8).
POP is the Post Office Protocol, which allows remote workstations and
Personal Computers to accesss their mail from a mailbox server.

allows users to access their normal unix mailbox remotely.

flag sets the socket to debugging and turns on debugging.
