The `misode' directory contains a version of the ISODE 6.0 library with
the transport layer compiled with the MGMT flag defined in `..h/config.h'	
which results in reporting management information
to the System Management Agent.  Applications using ISODE 
transport services that want to be managed should be linked with this
version of the library.

The most important subdirectories contain the following components:

`tsap' contains a version of the transport library compiled with the
management hooks (MGMT #defined in config.h).

`h' contains the ISODE header files with the MGMT flag #defined in config.h.

`imisc' contains a version of the ISODE imisc test program 
linked with the misode library so that the UCL management system
may be tested - see README file in `imisc'. 


The Makefile in this directory makes the misode library and the imisc
programs. Before you run make, the following paths in Makefile should be
edited to reflect the local configuration:

ISODE	=	isode library directory
LIB	=	the directory to install the misode library

In order to make and install it, run "make; make install". 

The `misode' directory is actually independent of `osimis' and its
other subdirectories, so it could be moved to any other place of
the direcory hierarchy.
