manstat \- print manual entry on a UNIX|STAT program
.SH SYNOPSIS
.B manstat
[-u] [-m macros] [-d docdir] program ...
.SH DESCRIPTION
.I Manstat
prints the manual entries for the named programs.
If it can't find them, it hands the task to \fIman\fR.
.SH OPTIONS
.TP
.B -m macros
This option specifies the macros to use to format the
manual entries.
By default these are the ``an'' or ``-man'' macros.

.B -d docdir
This option specifies the directory where
the UNIX|STAT manual entries are kept.
This directory should have two sub-directories:
man, where all \fInroff\fR source files are kept, and
cat, where formatted files are saved.
In the man directory, files should have a ".1" suffix.

.B -u
Update pre-formatted versions only.
Do not print UNIX|STAT documents.
