.TH MANSTAT 1 "March 5, 1985" "UNIX|STAT 5.0" "UNIX User's Manual" .SH NAME manstat \- print manual entry on a UNIX|STAT program .SH SYNOPSIS .B manstat [-u] [-m macros] [-d docdir] program ... .SH DESCRIPTION .I Manstat prints the manual entries for the named programs. If it can't find them, it hands the task to \fIman\fR. .SH OPTIONS .TP .B -m macros This option specifies the macros to use to format the manual entries. By default these are the ``an'' or ``-man'' macros. .TP .B -d docdir This option specifies the directory where the UNIX|STAT manual entries are kept. This directory should have two sub-directories: man, where all \fInroff\fR source files are kept, and cat, where formatted files are saved. In the man directory, files should have a ".1" suffix. .TP .B -u Update pre-formatted versions only.
