A Guide to \TeX
for the Troff User
\endtitle
\def\AuthorName{Mike Urban}
\def\ProjectName{TRW Software Productivity Project}
\def\AbstractText{%
Donald Knuth's \TeX\ is a text processing system with many powerful
and convenient features. Its architecture and user interface are substantially
different from the {\it troff\/} family of programs with which most
\font\cmcsc=cmcsc10
{\cmcsc Unix$^{\rm TM}$} users are familiar. An introduction to
the archi\TeX ture of Knuth's system is presented, with many references
to the corresponding features of {\it troff\/}.
