There are two m4 files for machines within UIUC. Use uiuc-1.m4 if your domain name server returns MX records for "random-host.bitnet". This can be done in two ways: a) You DO NOT run your own instance of named AND your resolv.conf nameserver entries point at {garcon,uxc,uxa}.cso.uiuc.edu (128.174.5.58, 128.174.5.50, 128.174.2.3). b) You DO run your own instance of named AND have included the line forwarders 128.174.5.58 128.174.5.50 128.174.2.3 in your named.boot file. The second file, uiuc-2.m4, should be used by sites that have access to pseudo-domain records as in the case of uiuc-1.m4 AND have installed phquery as LIBDIR/phquery where LIBDIR defaults to /usr/lib/mail . /pbp
