This vesion of poker was written under early BSD 4.2 (DYNIX),
    with a UCB universe.
It is not guaranteed to work when compiled in the att universe
(System V release 2) due to differences in curses.

The file poker.h should be edited to define how the instructions
are to be displayed. /usr/ucb/more is used, but this can be altered,
and so must the path to the file poker_rules.

The title screen (with the implementors address) is displayed
by the procedure title(), which is in p_scr.c

Most bugs have been removed, any that exist are in the hand
recognition routines, and do not appear often. Anything that looks
suspicious is probably just a design feature that you do not agree
with, or is due to the compiler and universe used.

I make this statement because I will soon loose my account, and
will not be able to help with queries. The code is however, fairly
well structured, so it should not be too hard to modify.
