Svingningsanalyse.
 
Der kan være tale om to former for svingningsanalyse, nemlig
 1) svingninger af skibets enkeltdele, tit opfattet som bjælker eller plade-
    felter (se bjælkeanalogi), eller
 2) selve skibets svingninger ved bevægelse i søen, altså af hydrodynamiske
    årsager.
