:bin

Most of the commands for users of unix lie in one of /bin, /usr/bin,
/usr/ucb. /bin contains the most basic ones.
:etc

These are commands for the super user (system administrator). Also
contained here are files describing system configuration, such as
the passwords file (passwd) and the file system table (fstab). We'll
create 'customized' versions of such files in a later build step.
:lib

Subroutines and libraries for commands in /bin.
:usr:bin

More commands for users of unix.
:usr:ucb

Still more commands for users. 'Ucb' stands for University of Cali-
fornia at Berkeley (place where these commands were written). For
    example, 'vi' lives here.
:usr:lib

Subroutines and libraries for various commands.
:usr:include

    Include files for C programs.
:usr:nsc

A few user commands provided by NSC (National Semiconductor Co.) for
genix (their version of Berkeley unix, which is what we have here).
:usr:new

These were added to the genix distribution by us at Enea Data. This
is the place to put in new commands if you have any.
:usr:dict

Word lists used by the spell program. This is put on a separate floppy
so that new words can be added easily.
:usr:games

If you are really tight on disk space, omit these. The present dis-
tribution does not contain many games, we'll add some later.
:usr:man

The on-line manual. This takes close to 2 megabytes of the disk so
you may consider whether you really want it.
