The file /etc/utmp keeps track of who is logged in on a running
Unix system. It is used by programs such as who, finger, and
uptime. An empty /etc/utmp must be created to get things started.
This file will never grow large and there's no reason not to have
it so just type 'y'. For more info: manual utmp(5).
