setclock \- read or set the hardware clock

.B /etc/setclock

[yymmddhhmm]]
.SH DESCRIPTION
With no arguments, 
.I setclock
reads the hardware clock and uses it to set the time
of the unix system.
.I Setclock
is used in this way by the /etc/rc script each time the
system is booted.
.PP
With the 
.B \-i
option, the time on the hardware clock is set
before setting system time.  If the time
is not given on the command line, it is read interactively 
from the terminal.
